About

Dental Avenue - East Harlem, located at 1667 Lexington Ave, New York, NY 10029, operates as a premier dental practice in the vibrant East Harlem community, delivering exceptional oral healthcare with a patient-centered approach. Also known through its association with Wellspring Dental, this practice has established itself as a trusted destination for comprehensive dental services, blending modern technology with compassionate care to serve the diverse needs of New Yorkers. While specific founding dates are not publicly detailed in available records, the practice's presence on platforms like Zocdoc and its active operations suggest years of dedicated service, building a reputation for reliability and excellence in a competitive urban landscape.[1][2][3][6][7] The mission of Dental Avenue - East Harlem centers on providing high-quality, accessible dental care in a welcoming environment that prioritizes patient comfort and long-term oral health. This commitment is evident in their clean, comfortable office setting equipped with state-of-the-art modern equipment and soothing relaxing music, creating an atmosphere that alleviates common dental anxieties and fosters positive experiences.[4] Led by skilled professionals such as Dr. Diane Jin, DDS, and Dr. Luke Yang, DDS, FICOI, the practice offers expertise across a broad spectrum of dental needs, from routine preventive care to advanced restorative and cosmetic procedures.[1][2][3] Dr. Jin, who also practices in Mamaroneck, NY, commonly treats patients for bridges, dental cleanings, consultations, new patient exams, and root canals, speaking English to ensure clear communication.[2] Dr. Yang, a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI), mirrors this with frequent care for similar services, including pediatric consultations, and earns high praise for bedside manner (4.89 average) and low wait times (4.83 average), as seen in patient reviews highlighting accommodating Saturday appointments for urgent needs.[3] Services encompass general dentistry like exams, cleanings, fillings, and extractions; restorative options including crowns, bridges, root canals, and dental implants; cosmetic enhancements such as Invisalign for straight smiles; and specialized treatments like deep cleaning (scaling and root planing), nightguards, Vivera retainers, TMJ treatment, and facial rejuvenation.[5][6][7] This wide array positions Dental Avenue as a one-stop solution, reducing the need for multiple providers. What truly sets Dental Avenue - East Harlem apart is its unique value proposition: a down-to-earth connection paired with professional rigor in a cozy, modern space tailored to urban lifestyles. Unlike larger chain clinics, it emphasizes personalized care, as reflected in patient testimonials praising thorough explanations, empowerment, and exceptional teams that make visits enjoyable.[5] The practice supports busy schedules with extended hours (M-T: 10am-6pm, W-F: 8am-4pm) and online booking via Zocdoc, accepting various insurances while offering specials like $99 exam and X-ray or $199 cleaning, exam, and X-ray packages, plus membership plans for uninsured patients.[2][3][5][6] Their focus on patient safety, new patient forms, aftercare instructions, and resources like blogs and smile galleries further demonstrates transparency and education. In East Harlem's dynamic neighborhood, Dental Avenue stands out by addressing both clinical excellence and emotional well-being, using advanced tools for precise diagnostics and treatments while playing relaxing music to ease tensions. Dr. Yang's FICOI credential highlights specialized implant expertise, and the inclusion of innovative services like facial rejuvenation for jaw relief differentiates them from traditional dentists. Community-oriented, they cater to families, adults, and children, with pediatric options and urgent care flexibility. This holistic approach not only restores smiles but builds lasting relationships, making Dental Avenue - East Harlem the go-to practice for those seeking superior dentistry without compromising comfort or convenience. With glowing reviews and a commitment to accessibility, it continues to elevate oral health standards in New York City, proving that quality care can be both professional and approachable. They are wonderful! My first time with Dr. Le and her staff; Lisa, Natalie and Tiffany. They are gentle, kind and easy going making sure you’re comfortable plus they explain everything thoroughly and take their time with you. I highly recommend especially if anyone has fear of the dentist they make you want to come back because they’re fantastic!

I love wellspring switching to them was the best thing I’ve ever done. I been with them for a few years now and I’m always treated with respect. The hygienist at the East Harlem location is one of the best hygienist I’ve ever had. I definitely recommend wellspring dental.

I have been doing to wellspring dental for two years and have felt very welcomed and well informed BUT DENTAL AVENUE was not a great experience at all. One we were never notified about the changed and when I called they explained that wellspring was supposed to notify the patients. That’s neither here or there. My dental cleaning felt extremely rushed. The hygienist asked me “ has anyone told you you have a gummy smile?” with images on the screen. I replied “ no actually.” It felt absolutely not needed because this was an aesthetic comment that I truthfully didn’t even think about myself. She made other comments but overall she made me feel worse coming out of there then when I came in. She also made remarks about wellspring about it not being as clean and that it looks better now.. I honestly did not notice a difference except the fact that they took the water out of the waiting area and didn’t give patient gifts in the way out. I will be finding another place.

I made an appointment a little over 2 weeks ago. When I came to my appointment, they said they are not longer Wellspring and refused to see me. No call, no text, no apology. Wellspring name is still on their door

recently I have a dental cleaning with them, and they changed name already. unfortunately I do not have a good experience with the new dental hygienist. She has good customer service, but she made my gum bleed. She said because of this reason or that readon. I do not think so. Over these years, she is the first one who made my gum bleed and made my tooth feel uncomfortable.
