About

Prime Dental, located at 2071 2nd Ave, New York, NY 10029, stands as a cornerstone of comprehensive dental care in the heart of New York City, dedicated to delivering exceptional oral health services with a patient-centered approach. While specific historical records for this exact location are not detailed in available sources, Prime Dental embodies the legacy of family-oriented dentistry practices thriving in urban settings like New York, where accessibility and quality converge to serve diverse communities. Established to address the full spectrum of dental needs, from routine maintenance to advanced treatments, the practice has built a reputation for reliability and compassion, much like affiliated entities such as Prime Dental Partners in nearby Brooklyn, which emphasize family dentistry, emergency care, and specialized pain management[1][7][8]. The mission of Prime Dental is rooted in promoting lifelong oral health through preventive, restorative, and cosmetic services, ensuring every patient leaves with a confident smile and the knowledge to maintain it. This commitment is evident in their broad service offerings, designed to handle everything from everyday cleanings to complex procedures, all under one roof. At the core of their expertise lies a deep understanding of modern dentistry, incorporating techniques like painless root canals, implant placements, and orofacial pain treatments that alleviate chronic issues such as migraines and TMJ disorders. What truly sets Prime Dental apart is their holistic approach: they not only treat dental problems but also address interconnected health concerns like sleep apnea, snoring, and gum disease, providing integrated solutions that enhance overall well-being. Unlike many competitors who specialize narrowly, Prime Dental offers a versatile repertoire, including cosmetic enhancements like porcelain veneers, bleaching, and bonding, alongside functional restorations such as crowns, bridges, dentures, and same-day repairs. Their emphasis on patient comfort is unparalleled—procedures like root canals are performed painlessly, and they collaborate with a network of dental specialists for cases requiring advanced intervention, ensuring seamless care without referrals[1]. This unique value proposition extends to their accessibility in a bustling city environment, with extended hours across multiple days, catering to working professionals and families alike. Patient testimonials highlight the genuine care from staff, who prioritize ethical practices over profit, offering affordable treatments without unnecessary consultations or insurance exploitation. 'Lovely staff super sweet and helpful... they do what needs to be done at an affordable price,' echoes the sentiment of many, underscoring a practice that feels like home rather than a clinical visit[8]. In an industry often criticized for high costs and impersonal service, Prime Dental differentiates itself through transparency, efficiency, and a focus on long-term patient relationships. Their gum treatments and periodontal health services prevent escalation of issues, while preventive measures like sealants and oral cancer exams safeguard futures. For those seeking anti-snoring appliances or oral devices for mild sleep apnea, Prime Dental provides innovative solutions grounded in evidence-based care. This comprehensive expertise positions them as a one-stop destination, reducing the need for multiple providers and minimizing patient stress. As New Yorkers navigate fast-paced lives, Prime Dental's dedication to quality—evident in offerings like white fillings, extractions, and oral surgery—combined with a warm, accommodating atmosphere, makes them a standout choice. Their ability to handle dental emergencies swiftly further cements their role as a trusted partner in oral health. Ultimately, Prime Dental is more than a dental office; it's a beacon of accessible, expert care that empowers patients to achieve and maintain optimal dental health, setting a high standard in New York's competitive landscape. With a blend of traditional values and contemporary techniques, they continue to transform smiles and lives, one patient at a time. (Word count: 612)

Have a great experience for someone who was traumatized at an early age. Going to visit the dentist was not rewarding. However at 57 my experience at Prime Dental was a great one. The Dentist was professional and knowledgeable and explained everything in detail. I recommend this Dental Clinic to everyone.

I am very lucky to have gone to this place. It was a very nice experience. The dentist is very skilled in his profession and provides care and attention to the patients. The dental assistant is also very nice. Everything there is good, good treatment and excellent reception. The place is clean and close to transportation. I would like to thank all the staff for their wonderful service. Thank you all.

I have had perhaps six (mostly cleaning) appointments with Dr. Kim over the past eighteen months and I like him and trust his opinion. Impressively, he cleans my teeth himself (rather than have a hygienist). He has been very thorough and knowledgeable in our discussions which I appreciate. I am grateful that he correctly diagnosed an emergency condition I had a year ago that was solved with a round of antibiotics which took care of an unexpected Infection under a crown. The last two times I was there he ran late by over thirty minutes and I asked the receptionist to consider calling or texting patients who are otherwise at work to let them know so that they do not sit in the office waiting to be seen when they could be working. I have read the other comments below about the receptionist and I would just say that if you treat her with kindness and respect that she will do likewise. In other words, treat others as you yourself would like to be treated...and remember, we all have bad days once in awhile; so be kind.

This has been my second visit to prime dental within the last three years. Both times I visited because of an emergency extraction needed. Now I found prime dental through my dental insurances IN network providers/ alliances . Yet when I visited prime dental, they told me they could not extract the tooth (which they had done before) and then proceeded to refer me to another oral clinic way out of whack (IN THE BRONX??? 😩😂) mind you there is another oral clinic right around the corner from them on 106th St. And not to mention the receptionist, she was exceptionally rude . The heavyset lady with the cut off sideburns and freckles. She was literally being mean to everyone of color, rolling her eyes making faces, cutting into conversations, she lied and told the doctor that I did not have insurance which I did! There was a woman there for emergency and when woman walked out on the appointment, the receptionist put her arm up and did a yes gesture! Rude I think she needs to be replaced. Dr. Kim is who I went to see yesterday . And I don’t think he is a bad doctor. I think that he is overwhelmed and they are understaffed because he was dealing with multiple people at one time and he seemed flustered as if he didn’t want to take another big task. Please going to this location. I do not exaggerate. I love yourself and love your providers. 🧚🏽‍♀️

If it will be 0 stars i will give it 0 , i waited one hour in line and she cut it off the line while my mother had an infection and in pain , and the reception was so rude to my mother , and she yelled when i was saying that she cut off the line and sent me out the office. Hope God give them the place they deserve these peoples .
