The practice is dedicated to providing high-quality patient care in a modern and comfortable environment, with a team of experienced and compassionate oral healthcare providers[7]. The practice offers a full range of services, from dental and oral health procedures to IV sedation and general anesthesia[7]. Dental Oral Surgery distinguishes itself through its commitment to accessibility and patient-centered care. The practice accepts almost all insurance plans and welcomes both scheduled appointments and emergency walk-ins at its 11 convenient locations[7]. This inclusive approach is particularly notable, as the practice serves patients regardless of insurance status, making emergency oral healthcare accessible to the broader community[2]. The specialists at Dental Oral Surgery have attained distinguished degrees from accredited programs, and many have hospital privileges and additional fellowship training[7]. Some practitioners are dual-trained medical doctors and oral surgeons, bringing comprehensive expertise to complex cases[7]. The practice prioritizes continued education, with doctors continuing to teach in academic settings to stay current with the latest advances in oral and maxillofacial surgery[7]. The Washington Heights location at 3915 Broadway serves as one of the practice's key Manhattan facilities, strategically positioned to serve the upper Manhattan community[1]. The practice's multi-location model allows it to serve diverse populations across New York City and surrounding areas, including the Bronx, Queens, Middletown, Poughkeepsie, and Connecticut[5]. At the core of Dental Oral Surgery's mission is a commitment to providing exceptional oral health care in a friendly and compassionate setting while serving the community and ensuring the highest level of patient satisfaction[7]. The practice's approach to patient care includes thorough initial consultations where medical and dental history is reviewed, diagnoses are discussed, and treatment options are explored[6]. For complex cases, the practice recommends separate consultations prior to procedures, particularly for children, patients with complex medical conditions, and those undergoing IV sedation or general anesthesia[6].

Customer Reviews
I was able to book an appointment online the same day. I had very little wait time and the staff was courteous. The surgeon did an exceptional job as I chose to forego the anesthesia and was awake during the procedure. Aside from the obvious pressure that would be felt in such a procedure, I did not experience any discomfort.
I will say honestly, I don’t like doctors, dentist, or anything in the medical fields, and it’s not easy for me to trust but here at Dental Oral Surgery I was pleasantly surprised. I entered a facility where I was encouraged to be at ease immediately with gentle beautiful music. They were kind, gentle, professional and patient. They were quick too. Usually you can’t get the above services along with quick. Quick did not mean pushy/annoyed/attitude but they displayed TLC (tender loving care), every single one of them, from the secretaries to the technicians. Since my needs require females only touch me, it was fantastic not to have to compromise my extra-needs-beliefs, respectfully. I would/will recommend them to anyone/everyone I know. I’m glad to have found such a place🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I received exceptional treatment, characterized by deep respect and patience, which was particularly appreciated given my state of anxiety. I highly recommend your services. The doctor's assistant showed remarkable kindness and respect, while the doctor maintained an outstanding professional level throughout the consultation.
It's a long wait to connect on the phone so you're better off making your appointment online. It's even a longer wait the day of, in a tiny waiting area. BUT the staff is courteous, friendly and professional. The office is clean, quiet and comfortable. The dentists and assistants are caring & patient. Both of my surgeries were done quickly and efficiently, and I recovered well.
This is a really good place with professionals! My healing time is fast and smooth which is a result of the surgery. However the waiting time is kinda ridiculous. My appointment was at 10am and I ended up being attended at 12pm. I bet there’s others with worse timing than mine. This was my second time going and it’s the same thing with the waiting time. Since the waiting space is also very small why can’t they do appointment with a big gap in between them so that way there’s no delays or little to no space while waiting?
