About

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Tribeca at 249 Church St, Wally Health emerges as a revolutionary and compassionate force in women's healthcare. Founded with a clear, urgent mission to bridge the glaring gaps in the traditional healthcare system for women and birthing people, Wally Health is not just a clinic; it is a comprehensive care ecosystem designed for the modern patient. Its genesis is rooted in the shared frustration of its founders—experienced healthcare innovators and clinicians—who witnessed firsthand how fragmented, inconvenient, and often dismissive standard care models could be, particularly for concerns related to sexual, reproductive, and mental health. They envisioned a sanctuary where evidence-based medicine meets unparalleled convenience, empathy, and holistic support, all delivered with a tech-enabled, patient-centric approach.

The core mission of Wally Health is to empower individuals through accessible, expert, and stigma-free healthcare. They operate on the fundamental belief that everyone deserves care that is both clinically excellent and profoundly respectful of their time, autonomy, and lived experience. This philosophy permeates every aspect of their service, setting them apart in the crowded New York healthcare landscape. Wally Health specializes in a forward-thinking, integrative model that seamlessly blends primary care, gynecology, mental health, and wellness. Their expertise is particularly honed in areas often relegated to rushed appointments or met with discomfort: sexual health, including STI testing and treatment; hormonal health and contraception; perinatal and postpartum support; urinary and vaginal health; and the crucial intersection of mental and physical well-being.

What truly defines Wally Health's unique value proposition is its operational model built around radical accessibility and continuity. While anchored by its inviting Tribeca physical location, Wally Health is a hybrid care pioneer. A significant portion of their care is delivered virtually through their intuitive platform, allowing for seamless follow-ups, medication management, and support from the comfort of a patient's home. This is complemented by in-person visits when needed, creating a fluid and flexible care journey. Their dedicated Care Team—a consistent pairing of a board-certified clinician and a care coordinator for each patient—ensures deep, longitudinal relationships, eliminating the impersonal 'revolving door' feeling of typical practices. This team manages everything from appointment scheduling to clarifying treatment plans, acting as a steadfast advocate for the patient.

Furthermore, Wally Health distinguishes itself through transparency and a commitment to inclusive care. They actively work to create an affirming environment for LGBTQIA+ patients and focus on culturally competent care. Their unique partnerships, such as the one with the sensitive at-home testing company Vivoo, extend their reach beyond the clinic walls. Unlike many traditional practices, they prioritize clear communication, upfront information on costs, and a membership-like subscription for virtual care that demystifies the process. By integrating advanced technology with old-fashioned relationship-building, Wally Health sets a new standard. They are a business built on the premise that exceptional healthcare should be a proactive, empowering, and integrated part of life, not a reactive, frustrating chore. In doing so, they are not merely treating patients; they are building a community of informed, supported, and healthier individuals.

I’ve been to one appointment so far. The office is very clean, with modern equipment, and the team is extremely kind and thorough in their explanations. I came in with a gum issue — they took X-rays, identified the problem right away, explained the treatment plan, and provided a clear cost estimate of $300. I honestly expected to spend around $3,000 elsewhere. I’m scheduled to come back for my next appointment in a week and feel very confident moving forward.

Signed up for Wally this year and think I made a great move. Price was affordable, services provided are really good and the experience was phenomenal. Bookings are easy and the staff is top notch. Highly recommend if you don’t have a dental plan and/or you have not visited a dentist in some time.

Wally is an incredibly convenient dental practice that I am truly grateful for. The location is ideal, making it easy for me to visit without any hassle. What truly impressed me was Sabina’s exceptional attention to detail and her thorough explanation of everything I would experience during my first cleaning. Her dedication to ensuring I felt comfortable and informed was remarkable. I am also delighted with the entire staff, who are all friendly and welcoming. Overall, my experience at Wally has been nothing short of outstanding, and I am thankful for the exceptional care and service I have received.

First time EVER having my teeth cleaning without using any numbing! It didn't hurt not one bit. My tech was beyond patient with me very friendly and quite knowledgeable. I felt I was in safe hands. Highly recommend!

Had my first appt yesterday and not impressed. I was the first person in the waiting room for the first appt and the last person to be seen. The person who took the X-rays didn't appear to be a hygienist. The hygenist tried to talk me into scaling even after I made it clear I wasn't interested she kept insisting. Then states out loud that she wouldn't be removing plaque unless I paid for the extra service. I know that the small amount of tarter I have is from not having my teeth cleaned recently and should have been taken care of by a normal cleaning but I did not feel comfortable that I got a good cleaning. There was no dentist on site and the "report" I got was just a number. The app is absolutely terrible. Whitening wasn't mentioned and there is nothing on the app indicating I can request it. I'm going to be making as many appts as possible to get my money's worth but definitely not signing up again. I didn't even have very high expectations and I'm still disappointed. Not sure why it thought it wouldn't be a scam. This is NYC. Like others mentioned it was freezing inside and having your teeth cleaned with freezing cold water might be worse than the pick.
