I will agree with other reviews, yes upon entering as an urgent care patient it is pretty hectic. They do need to work on roll call and clean that part of the experience up. The security guards were yelling at people to sit back down and once your name is called the woman who’s suppose to be checking you in won’t flag you over at all. You’re just suppose to magically know it was her talking. But once you sign in and get called, and register with your ID/Passport. They direct you to take an elevator to one of the three floors that take urgent patients. Then comes the smooth sailing. You get sat down in a waiting room and seen pretty quickly, the doctors and students are very professional and personable. I hadn’t been to a dentist in three years and my dentist did not make me feel bad about that at all. He was very understanding and empathetic. He also booked me as a patient of his for future appointments so coming in won’t be as hectic as it was today. Which is fantastic news. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for an affordable dental place to choose here. It’s clean, spacious, and has very precise dentists.
I finally found the perfect place to take care of my teeth. Everything is very clean, excellent professionals. I had a serious case of infection and Marissa gave me great support. Every professional who is taking care of my case makes me feel very safe. I recommend them.
I understand this is an overburdened service, but there is an unacceptable lack of clarity regarding treatment plans, payment options, scheduling and chain of command, particularly if you don't have insurance/are paying out of pocket. The work itself is fine, but the students I saw clearly were not given much guidance on outlining a treatment plan and were entirely unwilling to understand my financial situation. What was supposed to be 2 appointments quickly spiraled into 5+, services I thought were covered by the last visit became new payments, and I was ultimately denied service by a receptionist even after I was told by a student to still come in for treatment that I explicitly said I could not afford. If you have insurance I'm sure the experience is more reasonable, but if you're in the position I was then you may very well be told to kick rocks. Can't recommend in good conscience.
Present: disappointed I've call several times to address miscommunication, and yet to have spoken to PM. I've left msg through there web page and no call. Corrections only once and I return call and no answer. My issue is they tell you one thing and turn it to be different thing. It became big issue when they can't be reliable, consistent with there rules, policy etc 5m ago: Staff friendly, seem to know what they doing but lack of communication between each Flool. I was told i would be able get all 4 wisdom teeth remove & Crack at the same time from staff on disregard ltrs Day if service comes only get cracked tooth removed and other that was damaged. Now need to sched 2 addt appt for the wisdom teeth
Absolutely horrible! They treat you like you're poor and don't even need good care, and don't recommend things they could if they weren't discriminating. They don't return calls on purpose, and are completely unacceptable!!! Very poor care! NYU Dental broke my expensive veneers in a regular cleaning and refused to take responsibility and tried to gaslight me that it was my fault!!!!! Stay FAR AWAY!!!!
