Absolutely horrible experience. This office is completely unprofessional and blatantly money-driven. The front desk staff are rude, dismissive, and treat you differently the moment they realize you’re not paying cash or credit upfront. They told me to get insurance authorization because they claimed it “wouldn’t be approved.” When my insurance did approve the treatment, they suddenly changed their story and said their specialist doesn’t accept insurance — only cash or credit. So which is it? After wasting my time going back and forth with insurance, they then told me to go find another specialist and refused to provide a referral. No accountability, no professionalism, and zero concern for the patient. It’s very clear that once they realize they’re not getting immediate payment, your care no longer matters. The behavior at the front desk was especially disrespectful and completely unacceptable. I would strongly advise anyone considering this office to think twice.
I usually do not leave reviews, good or bad. So you know it's bad when I felt obligated to warn others of this horrible place. The worse experience I ever had at the dentist. I waited about 30 minutes to be called back to complete my x-rays. Then another 45 minutes to see the dentist. Only to not even have a baisc cleaning. I was informed the doctor was not going to touch anything unless I pay $500 towards a procedure that I know my insurance covers, which I was told a lie saying no insurance covers it. (Originally the office manager informed me the price was $1,500, which she suggested I open a credit care account to pay it off). Then I had to go back and ask the dentist to prescribed me some pain medication, which was not offered. The office manager runs the dentist, and it appeared that the dentist needed to consult with the office manager to prescribe me medication. I guess to ensure that I will come back. Everyone was nice until I refused to open a credit care account. After that, everyone was extremely rude. Avoid this place at all cost.
My experience with SmileCrafters has been completely unprofessional from start to finish. The last time I went in for an appointment, I had my X-rays done and was then left sitting in the dental chair for over two hours without anyone checking on me or explaining what was going on. No dentist, no hygienist, nothing. It wasn’t until I finally got up and asked what was happening that someone came into the room. A very young staff member briefly checked my teeth and then casually said, “Okay, you’re all good to go. What else can I help you with?” I was stunned. I told her that no one had cleaned my teeth yet. She looked surprised and rushed out of the room. After another 40 minutes, someone finally came in to do the cleaning. The entire visit felt disorganized, dismissive, and like my time didn’t matter at all. Now I’m trying to schedule another cleaning, and it’s been just as bad if not worse. I’ve been calling for two days straight, nearly every hour from when they claim they open until they close, and no one answers the phone. When someone does answer, they speak quickly and immediately transfer me without explanation. I’ve waited on hold with transfer music for 30 minutes at a time before hanging up. At this point, my calls are going straight to voicemail. I’ve left multiple messages, and none have been returned. It genuinely feels like they are avoiding my calls. This office is disorganized, unresponsive, and completely unprofessional. Between the excessive wait times, lack of communication, and refusal to answer the phone, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you value your time and basic professionalism.
I called to schedule an appointment as a returning patient WHILE AT WORK and the front desk answered speaking in Spanish which is ok because i understand but as tried to make the appointment she kept putting me hold and while looking for an appointment it sounded like she didn't know what she was doing... so she palced me on a longer hold. As i write this review Im unbelievably still on hold because I told her to transfer me to the Russian front desk lady who is very efficient.. and i'm still on hold
I just had my first and last appointment at Smile Crafters. I waited for an hour. No one ever apologized. No one ever introduced themselves. I had to ask who the tech and dentist were before they started. The dentist had to do my cleaning because they were so backed up, no techs were available. She blasted me in the face with the coldest ice water I've ever felt and didn't floss my teeth or use the scraper. The tech who did the teeth polishing took about 12 seconds to complete the entire job, rinsed my mouth, then left the room. Came back in and just said, "you're done." As I got up from the chair, I noticed one of the tools they used to clean my teeth was just sitting on the ground...gross. No "so sorry for the wait," no "thanks for coming in today," zero customer service or bedside manner. Needless to say, I will not be visiting this office again.
