The Healthy Smile Dental Arts Had relocation across street building, simply visible say to find. This was surprise to me when I step inside facility, very clean+well setup modern equipments and treatment room. Most of all the staff are very well present, that including Dr. and technician nurse. Are taking time to listen what I myself need, and technician fix an issue right then. Begin by walking in to reception window, reception politely request ID+health care card. Actually I was here Healthy Smiles Dental Arts 3rd. Years visit sometime ago, so I done all basic paper work health history form. There are may delay from original appointment 15-25 minute, but I would not mind about that at all, After my X-Ray and cleaning, with my couple brook teeth need implant + gum disease. Dr. realize I have heart failure disease, in ethical they are need request Medical clearance from Cardiologist Dr. It is not an issue for me at all. In the pass other dentist would make sure I do have good enough health insurance cover all procedure+copay funding, will quickly doing procedure over and done asap. This clinic are keep amazingly clean, with great environment and bright. Dr. much gentle right hand to cleaning teeth and gem line, do like a mouth was flavor soothing.
I’ve had a great experience at this dental office. The staff is always friendly, professional, and caring. They treat me very well, explain everything clearly, and make sure I’m comfortable during my visits. I really appreciate the excellent service and highly recommend them.
came in with a lot of dental anxiety from a rushed, rough experience at a previous clinic, but this Dominican dental office completely changed the tone for me. The staff is so friendly, gentle, and genuinely caring. They took their time, made me feel comfortable, and treated me like my well-being really mattered. I’m so grateful I found them! Highly recommend. 💛🦷
This new location is very beautiful. Super clean and all the employees are super friendly. This might be my home dental location!
I went the first time on September 19, 2025 on the Upper West Side for a routine cleaning. I chose this place off of my insurance's long list of locations where they said they were accepted because the photos looked like the facility was updated and the doctor had a comforting smile and the most affable demeanor. Going to the dentist has never been something I've looked forward to or even wanted to do. If it weren't necessary for the health of my teeth/smile, I truly would avoid it all cost, so I wanted to go some place that looked clean with a friendly staff. I got there 20ish minutes early to an almost empty lobby and was brought back to the room pretty quickly. The facilities were as advertised - clean and updated, they even had a tv on the ceiling where you can watch sea creatures in the ocean as you have work done. The teeth cleaning I had was thorough and even though the person doing the cleaning didn't speak my primary language, she seemed knowledgeable and caring, like someone who took pride their work. She had the receptionist at the front desk translate her findings at the end to me and apologized for not being able to fully converse with me herself. I told her it was fine. I'm actually learning how to speak her language and it's taking me years so I fully understood. When the receptionist told me I was done, I asked about seeing the doctor. Normally when you get your teeth cleaned at the dentist, a doctor comes in at the end to check the health of your gums and give any official diagnoses on cavities, etc. The receptionist told me that I had to schedule another appointment to see the doctor... apparently, the doctor wasn't in that day but they chose to schedule me (a new patient) for a cleaning, knowing that I would need to see the actual dentist but would not be able to do so that day. I was annoyed but scheduled to go back a week later to see the dentist I initially came to see. September 26, 2025, I returned to see the dentist. I arrived only five minutes early this time to a full lobby/waiting room. When I had waited about 45 minutes and watched someone who walked in after me get called back, I checked in with the receptionist to figure out what was going on. I had another appointment that I had scheduled two hours after this one and was verging on missing it because I was sitting in the lobby for 45 minutes, after arriving on time for my scheduled appointment. After a total of an hour and five minutes, I was brought back into the same room from the week prior. The dentist came in, said her name, and began poking around my mouth. She repeated exactly what the woman who did my cleaning had done, but with less than half the friendly demeanor, and in half the length of conversation. She spoke a total of four sentences to me the whole time, with one of those sentences being "open." - so much for the comforting smile and affable demeanor I had chosen this place off of... unfortunately, I have to get a cavity taken care of, which I have to wait a month and a half to do because that's the soonest they could schedule me for. I'm going to give this place one more chance before I go through the hassle of finding another location and transferring all of my information over. This has certainly not been the experience I was hoping for.
