I’ve worked 8 years in the New York fashion industry and grew up sketching wedding dresses and interning in bridal boutiques….so wedding dress shopping was something I was really looking forward to! Tammy was so kind and incredible - she knew I had a vision for the day and really listened to it and then allowed me to shop the sales floor to select dresses to try on. Several stores only let the consultant pull dresses, but I love that Mark Ingram allowed me and the consultant to shop together as a team! I went to over 15 stores but the first dress I selected at Mark Ingram ended up being my wedding dress!
It may sound cheesy but me and this dress truly had a soul connection. From the Italian embroidered scallop pattern (reminiscent of my designs as a young girl and inspired by the Chrysler building), to the covered buttons, the unique horsehair detail, and the train we extended 14 inches - I absolutely loved my dress and it was worth every penny! Mark Ingram has got to be the best bridal showroom in the city! From the moment I entered the building I was treated like royalty until the end of my appointment. My stylist was a delight and made me feel so comfortable and helped me try any dress I wanted. I’d describe the selection of dresses as high quality, timeless yet modern, with some statement dresses mixed in. The staff understand how to treat a bride and make her feel confident and special. I highly recommend this store.
Tammy and Mark Ingram Atelier helped me find my dream wedding dress! I went to four salons and Mark Ingram had the best service and inventory. Tammy was professional, knowledgeable and so much fun to work with. She has great vibes and made the dress shopping process painless and fun! The Atelier has a great inventory of beautiful dresses at a range of prices. They offer top notch service from the shopping day to alterations and delivery of the dress. Tammy also introduced me to the most beautiful veil that really elevated the whole look! The veil became my inspiration for my entire wedding design haha. She nailed it. I bought a beautiful, very expensive dress from Mark Ingram, and their tailor Alzira Hermes absolutely mangled it. I still can’t look at my wedding photos without cringing. To address the business's response, they did not do anything to help at the time so I'm not sure why they're being misleading about that, but I'm very happy to hear that Alzira is no longer their "alterations partner."
