I wanted to share my experience as a former patient of this clinic. A few years ago, I was under the care of Dr. Monterosso, and I couldn’t have been happier—he was an outstanding dentist, and I always felt well taken care of.
When the practice changed ownership and became Integrated Aesthetic Dentistry, I decided to stay with them since they already had my dental history and records. For the most part, I only visited for routine cleanings, with occasional X-rays and a mouth guard fitting.
During my cleanings, I made a point to ask each time if everything looked okay and whether I had any cavities. I was always told that my teeth were in good shape and cavity-free.
However, during a visit to Brazil around 2022, my longtime family dentist there discovered five cavities. He was very surprised, especially knowing how well I maintain my dental hygiene. This experience left me feeling disappointed and concerned, as I had trusted that my dental care in New York was being properly handled.
While I understand that this may not reflect the entire clinic or every provider there, this experience made me lose confidence in continuing care at that location. Since then, I’ve found a new dentist and clinic where I feel reassured and happy with the care I’m receiving.
