I’ve been seeing Dr. Grinbaum at Smiles+Grins Orthodontics & Pediatric Dentist for approximately two years now, and I can honestly say she has been excellent. She truly pays attention to detail and always takes the time to thoroughly answer any questions I have. I never feel rushed during my appointments, which makes such a difference. My teeth have been transformed for the better, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! The entire staff is just as wonderful. From the front desk to the assistants, everyone is warm, professional, and genuinely caring. They make scheduling easy, are always accommodating, and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. You can tell they work well as a team and truly care about their patients’ experience, not just the treatment itself. The office is consistently clean, organized, and welcoming, which adds to the overall positive experience. I actually travel from New Jersey just to continue my care with her…that’s how much I trust her work and the team as a whole. Dr Liel Grinbaum saw my daughter for a second opinion for her adult tooth that was growing into her baby tooth. I really appreciated that he took time to evaluate the condition and present all the options and valued a conservative approach. As a father and doctor myself I really value that it’s about doing the best for the patient and treating each kid as if they are your own. I also want to mention the team is incredibly friendly and the office is pristine and perfect for kids. I couldn’t express greater gratitude for Dr Grinbaum and the entire team. Dishonest, incompetent, and a complete waste of time This office is a masterclass in chaos, harassment, and bait-and-switch tactics. We scheduled a free orthodontic/braces evaluation 30 days in advance. Over that month, this office called, emailed and texted us at least 18 times. Not helpful reminders — harassment. Reconfirming, de-confirming, pressuring us to come earlier, repeatedly demanding insurance information after being clearly told we are paying for these braces out of pocket, and even threatening to cancel the appointment if we did not comply with the insurance text demands within minutes. After all of this obsessive micromanaging, we showed up for the appointment they confirmed over and over again. At that point, the staff suddenly had no idea what we were talking about. No braces. No orthodontic evaluation. No orthodontist. Instead, they attempted to push a paid teeth cleaning and x-rays — something we did not schedule, did not want, and were never informed about. We have our dentist that we are very happy with. So after a month of phone spam and intimidation, we arrived only to be told that the appointment we confirmed countless times simply did not exist. That is either staggering incompetence or intentional deception. Either way, it is unacceptable. This office does not respect patients’ time, cannot manage its own scheduling, and appears comfortable misleading people just to get them in the door and charge for unrelated services. If this is how they operate before treatment even begins, it says everything about how they treat patients once money is involved. Avoid.
