Dr. Starkman is one of the best dentists I've worked with. She goes out of her way to be friendly and help educate her patients. I've been struggling with gum issues for years, and no other dentists I've seen have picked up on the issue. Dr. Starkman immediately realized there was a problem, made sure to get me an appointment with a specialist, and spent so much time with me ensuring I had good dental hygiene practices. I cannot recommend her enough.

This is my first ever doctor review on google but Dr. Starkman's standout care goes above and beyond.
A year and a half ago I came in anxious about sensitivity I'd been experiencing near my gums. Dr. Starkman spent time explaining what was going on in many ways so I understood the problem and how to prevent it moving forward. She modeled what I can do on herself, on me, and with an anatomical model to ensure I really got it. I still see Dr. Starkman but now my sensitivity problems are gone and my dentist visits aren't painful like they used to be.
She is incredibly thorough and has caught other problem areas no other dentist ever paid attention to. Moreover, she radiates kindness and an understanding of her patients holistic care. She doesn't rush the visit or poke in at the very end to talk about cavities. She always explains everything in a kind and clear manner and makes sure I really understand what is going on and what I've been doing well and what could use some work. She is a wonderful doctor and educator. She'd get 6 stars if I could grant them. HIGHLY recommend!!
