About
SZL Oral Surgery, situated at the prestigious address of 750 Park Avenue in New York City's Upper East Side, represents the pinnacle of specialized dental and maxillofacial care. While extensive searches through official state dental board registries, business directories, and professional listings do not yield a verifiable practice operating under the exact name 'SZL Oral Surgery' at this specific residential address, the request allows for the construction of a profile based on the standards of elite oral surgery practices in this renowned neighborhood. In the context of New York's competitive medical landscape, an oral surgery practice at this location would inherently be positioned as a premier, patient-centric facility. Typically, such a practice would be built upon a foundation of exceptional academic training, often led by surgeons with credentials from top-tier institutions like Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, or Mount Sinai. The mission of a hypothetical SZL Oral Surgery would likely focus on integrating the highest level of surgical expertise with a compassionate, personalized approach, understanding that patients undergoing procedures like wisdom tooth extraction, dental implant placement, or corrective jaw surgery require both technical precision and significant emotional support. The practice would probably distinguish itself through a unique value proposition centered on three core pillars: the utilization of state-of-the-art technology such as cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) for 3D imaging and guided surgical software, a commitment to superior patient comfort including advanced sedation options in a luxurious, anxiety-reducing environment, and a collaborative care model that works closely with referring dentists, orthodontists, and physicians. What would set it apart from competitors is its holistic approach; it wouldn't just be a surgical suite but a center for comprehensive treatment planning, managing complex cases from trauma reconstruction to full-mouth rehabilitation with a focus on long-term health and aesthetic outcomes. The Upper East Side demographic demands discretion, excellence, and convenience, and a practice here would be designed to meet those expectations fully, potentially offering flexible scheduling, detailed financial coordination, and post-operative care that exceeds the norm. The history of such a practice might be rooted in a surgeon's desire to create an ideal setting for patient care, free from the constraints of larger hospital systems, allowing for meticulous attention to detail in every interaction. In essence, SZL Oral Surgery, as conceptualized for this esteemed zip code, would embody a sanctuary of surgical excellence where cutting-edge science meets the art of personalized medicine, all within one of the world's most demanding and sophisticated healthcare markets.

Customer Reviews
Dr Lustman is a miracle worker. I have undergone two totally successful procedures with him and the hallmarks of his treatment are no pain, no swelling and an almost immediate return to normal. Couple this with a winning “bedside manner “ and a well run and caring practice (SZ&L) I doubt the experience could be better elsewhere.
The absolute best Oral Surgeon in the NJ/NY area. Do not waste your time going anywhere else. Dr. Lustman radiates with comfort, compassion and knowledge in his field. He is patient with you and explains everything to the last detail till your comfortable to proceed. Got two wisdom teeth extracted and it was a fantastic job done. On day 2 of recovery I have absolutely no pain at all just some swelling which is expected. Dr. Lustman fully puts his heart into every patient that comes his way. We truly need more Doctors like him. Also great and clean facility with excellent dental assistants, couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
Dr. Lustman is truly the best. I am terrified of any procedures related to my teeth, as most of us are, but he is friendly, quick and HE LISTENS ! He won't just try to tell you he knows better because he is a doctor. He will give you good advice and follow your lead. I have 3 teeth pulled by him, and each time has been very quick and as pain free as can be expected. I also did this with only novacaine and still felt pretty comfortable. I can't recommend him enough!!!
I was recently referred to Dr. Lustman of SZ&L for a fractured tooth that needed to be extracted because of an infection that had developed. I have extreme phobia's about dentistry and have never had a good experience. So needless to say I was very anxious when I arrived. That all changed when I stepped through the door at SZ&L. The front desk is extremely courteous and thorough with all of the paperwork, there was no wait time, and they couldn't be more accommodating.
Dr. Lustman is a gentleman, he took his time explaining the procedure and what I should expect. As he extracted the tooth he was talking to me and joking in the the most soothing manner that I almost forgot that I was in a dental chair. The man is an expert at his craft. He is understanding, compassionate, and gentle with his touch. Being in the health field myself I rarely see this kind of attention anymore, so I appreciate the fact that he goes back to the days of yesteryear to make you feel comfortable. Additionally, the office environment is state of the art, as you get to pick whatever music you like during your treatment visit, and then he instantly explains to you what was performed on a computer monitor that is in front of you. His assistants are wonderful as well. They explained to me what needed to be done for ongoing care to help me recover faster. If you need an Oral Surgeon, look no further, this is by far the best place I have ever went to for dental work. Thank you Dr. Lustman and thanks to the staff at SZ&L. Well done!
