About

Nestled in one of Manhattan's most prestigious and iconic addresses, overlooking the serene beauty of Central Park, Masha Pelts, DDS represents the pinnacle of personalized, high-end dental care in New York City. This boutique dental practice, located at 30 Central Park South, is far more than a clinic; it is a sanctuary of oral health and aesthetic excellence, meticulously crafted to serve a discerning clientele who expect nothing less than perfection, discretion, and a holistic approach to their well-being. Dr. Masha Pelts has established her practice on the foundational belief that exceptional dentistry is an art form that seamlessly blends cutting-edge science with individualized care, all delivered within an environment of unparalleled comfort and luxury.

The history of the practice is intrinsically linked to Dr. Pelts's own journey and philosophy. After completing rigorous academic and clinical training, Dr. Pelts envisioned a dental practice that broke away from the impersonal, assembly-line experience often associated with metropolitan healthcare. She sought to create a destination where patients feel listened to, valued, and cared for as whole individuals, not just a set of teeth. The choice of location—a classic, elegant building on Central Park South—was deliberate, reflecting the practice's commitment to providing a tranquil, stress-free oasis amidst the city's relentless pace. From its inception, the practice has been dedicated to building long-term, trusting relationships with patients, many of whom are professionals, families, and international visitors residing in or visiting the world's most dynamic city.

The mission of Masha Pelts, DDS is to enhance health, function, and confidence through comprehensive, minimally invasive, and aesthetically focused dentistry. Dr. Pelts operates with a conservative philosophy, prioritizing the preservation of natural tooth structure and the long-term health of the oral system. Every treatment plan is bespoke, developed through detailed consultation and collaborative discussion, ensuring patients are fully informed and comfortable with their path to optimal oral health. The practice's expertise spans the full spectrum of general, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry, with a particular acumen for addressing the complex needs of adults who demand both exceptional results and an exceptional experience.

What truly sets this business apart is its unique value proposition centered on a concierge-style, patient-first experience. The practice typically sees one patient at a time, eliminating rush and ensuring complete, undivided attention. The office itself is designed to feel like a calm, elegant apartment, featuring curated art, premium materials, and state-of-the-art yet unobtrusive technology, including advanced digital imaging (like low-radiation digital X-rays and intraoral cameras) and same-day CAD/CAM restorations. This technology allows for precise diagnostics, patient education, and efficient, high-quality treatments. Dr. Pelts’s meticulous attention to detail, both clinically and interpersonally, fosters a deep sense of trust. Her approach is educational and empowering, giving patients the knowledge and tools to be active partners in their care.

Furthermore, the practice distinguishes itself through its artistic sensitivity, especially in cosmetic and restorative work. Dr. Pelts possesses a keen eye for aesthetics, understanding that a beautiful smile must harmonize with the individual's facial features, personality, and desires. Whether performing a simple teeth whitening or a full-mouth reconstruction, the goal is always to achieve results that are both stunningly natural and profoundly durable. In a city teeming with dental options, Masha Pelts, DDS carves out a singular niche by offering a rare combination of world-class clinical skill, artistic vision, and a profoundly personalized, tranquil care environment. It is not merely a place to have dental work done; it is a destination for those who seek to invest in their health and appearance through a partnership with a dedicated artist-physician in a setting of refined luxury.

So grateful to have Dr. Pelts as my dentist. In addition to everything everyone else has said (incredibly kind and professional office, top notch patient experience), she has really gone above and beyond for me as a patient by getting me in to see an endodontist the very next day when I needed further specialist evaluation. Really a gem of a small dental practice that is there for their patients every step of the way.

Dr. Pelts and team have been caring for my family and my health for many years. I have been a patient from moment her office opened and have always found the best care with Dr. Pelts. I am a very nervous patient and always needed a doc who is very gentle and understanding. Dr. Pelts always explains everything, is always friendly and kind and I feel at ease and completely taken care of in her office. I know my teeth are the best they can be which is amazing for being a nervous patient. Dr. Pelts also cares for my children and other family members, she is the only one I would recommend. My appointments are always on time, everyone in the office is friendly and helpful. I am so happy I found the best doctor - it is not easy feat in NYC. Thank you, Dr. Pelts!

I personally had a very unpleasant time with Dr. Pelts. The staff at the office are amazing and there is no issue there. I went in around 6 years ago and was very happy with the prior dentist Dr. Layne Martin because he was gentle and I have extreme sensitivity. Anyways, he sold his practice and I was left with Dr Pelts who was to fix 2 cavities while using an extra amount of laughing gas to ease me. At the time I was 20 years old and was under the impression we were doing 2 teeth but while I was under gas she decided to keep me under for an additional 2 teeth that needed work which had me in the chair for over 2 1/2+hrs. I had a panic attack while in the chair and until about a month ago I was terrified of the dentist. This is a clear violation of her Hippocratic oath by not checking in with me the patient and making her decision to continue the work to what I guess is to get as much money from the appointment. Now with all the work I need done because of not visiting the dentist has put me in a deeply anxious state with a lot of work ahead. If you have dental anxiety make sure you feel comfortable before you do any work with her.
