I visited today with my son, who is on the spectrum, for a new patient exam and cleaning. The clinic was very clean, and the dental assistant, dentist, hygienist, and receptionist were all kind and accommodating. The dentist took the time to explain everything thoroughly without rushing, which I really appreciated. I’m glad we’ve found a new dental office in the U.S. for our family.

I used to love True Smiles Dental. I went there for an emergency appointment back in 2019 which is how I found them. The dentist is a very nice lady, but that receptionist that they have working is very rude and nasty and she should be talked to about the way she talks to people, especially when giving false information. I was told I could be seen for an emergency appointment but they didn’t take my insurance any longer. I said I was gonna try to contact my dentist and call back when I called back. The receptionist picked up the phone and hung up on me. I called back again and she did the same thing That is very unprofessional on her behalf and it ruins the practice especially because the dentist is such a wonderful lady.
I went there for a filling. After the filling my teeth could no longer touch on one side. So the Dentist started FILING down my FRONT TEETH without asking. I literally had to make her stop. After I stopped her she said “yeah I don’t want you to have sensitivity on your front teeth.” INSANE! How do you start filling someone’s front teeth without saying anything when they came for a filling?? Didn’t explain anything to me just left.
Very unprofessional, no backup plan, hypocritical policy
They have cancelled my appointment (again!) just 2 hours before my scheduled time bcoz their doctors called off (again!), even thiugh they called me yesterday to confirm the appointment. It took me 6 months to get an appointment, you will never get your preferred time/date, yet they cannot afford additional dentists to cover for others, especially when you cannot arrange an appointment on time. Tou can charge for not attending a cleaning appointment, it is alright for you to cancel twice in 1.5 years at the eleventh hour, as if we don't have any job or anything. They don't have any better things to say other than "we cannot do anything about it".
I am never ever going back, and am recommending everyone not to.
