About

Williamsville Family Dentistry stands as a cornerstone of comprehensive oral healthcare in the bustling suburb of Williamsville, New York. Founded with a singular vision to provide exceptional, patient-centered dental care to families and individuals of all ages, the practice has cultivated a reputation for clinical excellence, compassionate service, and a warm, welcoming environment that alleviates the anxiety often associated with dental visits. The practice is strategically located at 1630 Maple Rd #400, a central and accessible point in the community, symbolizing its commitment to being an integral part of the local fabric.

Dr. Michael Reynolds, the lead dentist and visionary behind Williamsville Family Dentistry, established the practice over two decades ago. His journey began with a deep-seated belief that dentistry should be a partnership between practitioner and patient, built on trust, education, and transparent communication. This philosophy became the bedrock of the practice. From its humble beginnings, it has grown into a state-of-the-art dental home, consistently investing in advanced technology and continuing education to stay at the forefront of modern dentistry. The history of the practice is not just one of growth in size, but of deepening relationships with generations of families who have entrusted their smiles to the team's care.

The mission of Williamsville Family Dentistry is profoundly simple yet impactful: to enhance the health, function, and beauty of patients' smiles while fostering lifelong relationships built on mutual respect and genuine care. This mission is operationalized through a holistic approach that looks beyond just treating immediate problems. The team focuses on preventive care and patient education, empowering individuals with the knowledge to make informed decisions about their oral health. They understand that a healthy smile is intrinsically linked to overall well-being, confidence, and quality of life.

The practice's expertise spans the full spectrum of general, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry. Services are delivered by a highly skilled team of dental professionals who participate in rigorous ongoing training. Their collective expertise includes advanced procedures such as dental implant placement and restoration, Invisalign clear aligner therapy, same-day CEREC crowns, and sophisticated full-mouth rehabilitation. What truly sets Williamsville Family Dentistry apart is its unique value proposition: the seamless fusion of cutting-edge technology with old-fashioned, personalized care. The office is equipped with digital X-rays, intraoral cameras, and 3D cone beam CT imaging, which allow for precise diagnostics and minimally invasive treatments. However, technology never replaces the human touch; it enhances it.

Patients consistently note that the practice's environment feels more like a serene retreat than a clinical dental office. From the comforting demeanor of the administrative staff to the gentle, detail-oriented approach of the hygienists and assistants, every interaction is designed to put patients at ease. The practice specializes in caring for anxious patients and those with complex dental histories, offering sedation options and taking the time to thoroughly explain every step of a procedure. This patient-first culture, combined with unwavering clinical excellence, is what distinguishes Williamsville Family Dentistry from larger corporate clinics or less-personalized competitors. They are not just treating teeth; they are caring for people, building a legacy of health and trust in the Williamsville community, one smile at a time.

Mixed feelings about this dental practice...sometimes thing went great, other times it was a nightmare. The one dental hygienist is great and offered more insight than the doctor did! Hard to get a hold off as they are often not properly staffed.

Everything was going okay and we had gotten back to the room all staff minus doctor and secretary were very nice and respectful. The doctor has come in to access my fiancé. After they had been done explaining I had tried to explain anout their child dental issues (that they had forgot about and did not mention). As I was trying to advocate for them I was very rudely cut off by the doctor saying “let’s listen to her I was not speaking with you” I let that go and brushed it off. After being finished I asked the secretary to cancel my upcoming appt as I found the doctor very rude for in other worlds tell me to shut up for trying to advocate for my partner. Secretary became very snappy and rude and rolled her eyes as I had walked away for not giving her my full name. (My fiancé was still standing right there and is very capable of giving my name). Overall good experience minus the doctor and secretary. Would not recommend if you like to advocate for your significant other.

I had an 8:00 AM appointment and called at 7:45 AM to let the office know I would be 10 minutes late, but no one answered, so I left a voicemail. When I called again at 8:00 AM, I was told they could not see me and that new patients who miss appointments are not allowed to reschedule. This policy was never communicated to me, and I was unaware that there was no grace period. Being late is very different from missing an appointment altogether, and the interaction felt dismissive. Overall, the experience was disappointing.
