About

Pediatric Dental Care in Williamsville, New York, stands as a dedicated and compassionate dental home specifically designed for infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special healthcare needs. Located at 13 Hopkins Rd in the heart of Williamsville, this practice is built on the foundational belief that positive early dental experiences are crucial for establishing a lifetime of healthy oral habits. The practice's mission extends far beyond treating cavities; it is committed to providing comprehensive, evidence-based dental care in an environment that is welcoming, fun, and completely free of anxiety for both children and their parents.

The history of Pediatric Dental Care is rooted in a deep-seated passion for children's health. Founded by a pediatric dental specialist who recognized the need for a practice solely focused on the unique dental and emotional needs of young patients, the office has grown into a trusted community pillar. Every aspect of the practice, from the office design to the communication style of the staff, is meticulously crafted with a child's perspective in mind. The waiting area is more of a play area, equipped with engaging toys, books, and interactive elements that immediately put young visitors at ease. The treatment rooms are designed to be non-threatening and colorful, often featuring child-friendly themes and entertainment options to distract and comfort patients during their care.

What truly sets Pediatric Dental Care apart is its dual specialization in clinical excellence and behavioral management. The team understands that a child's fear of the dentist is a significant barrier to care. Therefore, they employ proven techniques such as "tell-show-do," positive reinforcement, and distraction to build trust and cooperation. For patients with high anxiety, special needs, or those requiring extensive treatment, the practice offers safe and effective sedation options, including nitrous oxide (laughing gas) and in-office general anesthesia administered by a board-certified anesthesiologist, ensuring that every child can receive the care they need without trauma.

Expertise is the cornerstone of the practice. The lead dentist is a board-certified pediatric dentist, meaning they have completed an additional two to three years of specialized residency training beyond dental school, focusing exclusively on child psychology, growth and development, and the treatment of children's developing teeth. This advanced training equips them to handle everything from routine preventive care to complex restorative procedures, early orthodontic intervention, and emergency dental trauma. The entire team, from hygienists to dental assistants, receives ongoing training in pediatric-specific care and communication, creating a seamless and supportive experience.

The unique value proposition of Pediatric Dental Care lies in its holistic, family-centered approach. They view parents as essential partners in their child's oral health journey. The practice dedicates significant time to parental education, offering guidance on topics like infant oral care, nursing bottle caries, thumb-sucking, healthy dietary choices, and sports mouthguard protection. They emphasize prevention through regular check-ups, professional cleanings, fluoride treatments, and protective dental sealants. By empowering families with knowledge and providing care in a positive, judgment-free atmosphere, they aim to break the cycle of dental fear and poor oral health.

In a competitive landscape, Pediatric Dental Care distinguishes itself through its unwavering commitment to creating a genuinely positive experience. It’s not just a dental office for kids; it’s a place where children are celebrated, their fears are acknowledged and alleviated, and their health is nurtured with expert, gentle hands. This commitment to exceptional patient experience, combined with the highest level of specialized clinical training, makes Pediatric Dental Care the premier choice for families in Williamsville and the wider Western New York community seeking to build a foundation for lifelong dental wellness for their children.

I've been taking my children to this office for nearly 10 years and they are amazing! The receptionist and billing department has gone WAY above and beyond for me, especially during a huge insurance mix up (on my end not theirs). Most offices would have let me drowned in paperwork, but they have helped me navigate some crazy insurance stuff. The hygienists are super kid friendly and Dr. Roseman is professional, intelligent and kind. Highly recommend!

I went to this facility from childhood through 26 years old! I have a lot of dental anxiety, and Dr. Roseman and the Dr. who preceded her both were so gentle, kind, and comforting. I've never had a problem here and am sad they don't have an adult practice as well. It was such a great place, we drove from South Buffalo to there all these years!

Both of our Toddlers have been attending Dr. Roseman's office for a year and a half, and couldn't be happier with the office staff, the Dr.'s thoroughness, and our kids liking to the practice. A+ in my books.

My sons first appointment. The dental hygienist was getting aggravated & annoyed laughing under her breath because my son didn’t understand how she was saying to close his mouth on the pieces while getting an X-ray which could even be hard for me at the age of 30 lol. I told her I would do it for her lol. Then they referred us to an off-site office for sedation for a cavity that doesn’t accept insurance & wants $460 out of pocket for a 4 year old to be put to sleep for a cavity. No thanks, what a great experience i almost put my son through by listening to dental advice from these people who obviously easily see over 20 kids a day. If you’re looking for a comfortable experience for your first timer, this place isn’t it.

My daughter had dental surgery and met with the oral surgery coordinator that stated what my total oop cost will be for the procedure which I paid for prior to surgery. They said that is all I will owe. Then I received a bill months later for $488. When I called and questioned why they pretty much said tough. That is what it is. Total scam. Don’t go here
