About

Suburban Dental, located at 5136 Sheridan Drive in the heart of Williamsville, New York, has established itself as a cornerstone of comprehensive oral healthcare for the greater Buffalo community. For decades, this esteemed practice has built a reputation not just on clinical excellence, but on fostering genuine, long-term relationships with patients of all ages, treating them like an extension of their own family. The practice's foundation is built on a simple yet profound philosophy: that exceptional dental care should be accessible, comfortable, and tailored to the individual needs and goals of each person who walks through their doors.

The history of Suburban Dental is intertwined with the growth of Williamsville itself. Founded with a commitment to serve the suburban families of Erie County, the practice has evolved alongside advancements in dental technology and techniques, while never losing sight of the personalized, compassionate care that defined its beginnings. From a single-operatory practice, it has grown into a modern, full-service dental home, continually investing in state-of-the-art equipment and ongoing education for its team. This growth has always been patient-driven, focusing on expanding services to meet the community's evolving needs, from basic preventive care to advanced cosmetic and restorative procedures.

The mission of Suburban Dental is to empower patients to achieve and maintain optimal oral health for a lifetime. This is accomplished through a proactive, educational approach where the highly skilled team takes time to explain conditions, discuss all treatment options transparently, and develop personalized preventive plans. They believe an informed patient is an empowered partner in their own care. The practice's environment is meticulously designed to alleviate the anxiety often associated with dental visits. From a warm, welcoming reception area to comfortable treatment rooms equipped with modern amenities, every detail is considered to ensure a calm and positive experience.

What truly sets Suburban Dental apart is its unique value proposition centered on comprehensive care under one roof, delivered by a stable, experienced team. Patients are not referred out to myriad specialists for common procedures; instead, the practice offers a wide spectrum of general, restorative, and cosmetic services performed by their dedicated doctors. This continuity of care builds trust and simplifies the treatment process. The team's expertise is a significant differentiator. The lead dentists bring years of accumulated experience and a commitment to continuous learning, allowing them to handle complex cases with confidence. Their expertise spans the latest in tooth-colored restorations, custom-crafted crowns and bridges, implant-supported prosthetics, clear aligner therapy, and advanced periodontal treatments.

Furthermore, Suburban Dental distinguishes itself through its patient-centric culture. Appointments are scheduled with ample time to ensure no one feels rushed. The administrative staff is exceptionally knowledgeable about dental insurance and financing, working diligently to help patients maximize their benefits and navigate payment options with clarity and compassion. They have cultivated a loyal patient base spanning generations, a testament to the trust and quality they consistently deliver. In a healthcare landscape that can feel impersonal, Suburban Dental remains a beacon of personalized, relationship-based dentistry. They are not just treating teeth; they are caring for people, contributing to their overall health, confidence, and well-being. This commitment to excellence in both the art and science of dentistry, combined with an unwavering focus on patient comfort and trust, is the defining characteristic that makes Suburban Dental a premier choice for families in Williamsville and the surrounding Western New York region.

I was very nervous to get my dental work done as i hadn’t had any major dental work done before. Sarah held my hand when the doctor numbed me and they both made me feel so comfortable and walked me through the process. I was able to get my bridge work AND teeth whitening done in one day! Absolutely wonderful staff and doctor!

First time at my dentist's office after take over by new dentist. Plus side: I liked the staff and Dr.Lesinski seemed nice.Dental hygienist did nice job cleaning my teeth. Office has been redecorated. Looks stylish and fresh but not a fan of staring at a black accent wall in patient room during visit. Needs improvement: I was asked to be at office 15 minutes prior to my appointment at 10:30 am. Yet I was not seen until almost 11 am. That's 45 minutes I waited. Also the office was cold (temperature). Will give them a few tries to see if there is improvement.

It did not have the quiet and calm atmosphere it had when Dr Steve Cappellucci was there. It was also the first time that I did not see the dentist immediately after seeing the dental hygienist, and had to make a separate appointment to see the new dentist. I hope this will not continue because the location is not near my home. If it does I will look elsewhere. There were many more patients there than usual and it felt rushed. Hopefully this is just a product of the new and old staff adjusting to the fairly recent change in ownership.

New ownership as Dr C apparently sold the practice. First visit was today, and was not impressed. I was advised that NO patient info was transferred, so all patients are being treated as “new”. So i had to fill out a bunch of paperwork. The very first thing the receptionist said to me after “hello” was “so you dont have insurance, right?”. I mean how embarrassing, not to mention false that was to say. I can’t believe that my information was unable to be transferred. Fortunately my dental hygienist was the same, and she was friendly as always. The new Dentist was also friendly.

The girl who cleaned my teeth was okay - took her only 20 minutes to clean my teeth - Dr Lesinski office always took longer to clean the teeth. Teeth don’t feel as clean as they used to be. . I was not happy that there was no Doctor to give me an exam. I was going to have to make another appointment to see the dentist - which I will not do because cleaning and exam should only be one visit. Also I could not make another appointment because there was no one there to get into the computer system to make the next appointment. Very disappointed the Dr Lesinski closed his business and joined this office. Not happy at all.
