Everyone in the office is very professional and friendly. I think they did a great job cleaning my teeth and performing the examination. 2/4/26 I wanted to update my review to say I came came back for three fillings and Dr. Keegan and her team did a great job. They told me what they were going to do before they did it, and considering how much anxiety I have around cavity fillings I was pleasantly surprised that my worry was for nothing. This is an exceptional dental office!

This is my first visit for dental in quite some while, I had a great experience at this dental center. The staff was extremely professional and made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. They were helpful in answering all my questions and made sure I understood every step of my treatment. It’s clear they truly care about their patients. I highly recommend this dental center to anyone looking for quality dental care!.

I wish that I’d had a positive experience here. So many of the reviews are wonderful, and when my old practice stopped taking my insurance, I thought I’d be in good hands. I initially had a cleaning. I’m not sure why they have you fill out new patient paperwork, because they didn’t read it and proceeded to clean my teeth with no care to my preexisting dental conditions. When the hygienist asked me how I was doing, I was honest and said that I was in pain, to which she replied “Well why didn’t you tell me that you had this condition?”. I didn’t know that it was my job to read my paperwork out loud to you and check for understanding, sorry. They found 2 cavities that needed to be filled. I promptly made an appointment. When I came back to have my cavities filled, the dentist just started drilling. No novocaine, no discussion of the procedure. I had to push the drill out of my mouth and say “ow!”. His response? “It’s a superficial cavity so it shouldn’t hurt”. He was going to continue without novocaine because it ‘shouldn’t hurt’. I asked for novocaine please and received some. This dentist (different than the one I’d seen before) again made the comment “You should have told me about this preexisting condition “. Obviously, he had not read my paperwork either. Two weeks later, the filling failed, I was in pain, and I had to have adjustments made. At this point, I should have looked for a new dentist. I didn’t. During a routine cleaning (at which I was shamed for not purchasing a mouth guard and told that my teeth weren’t going to last much longer), the found a crack in my tooth that required a crown. I made the appointment. During my crown appointment, nobody explained the process to me (it was my first crown, maybe I should have googled it first?). The temporary crown was great. When I went back for my permanent crown, the dental assistant (yet another one) took an X-ray without any protection, then came back into the room and asked me if I was pregnant. Um, what if I was?? Shouldn’t that be a BEFORE question? Here I am, still in pain a month out from that procedure. I’m hoping they can fix it. I know that things happen, and maybe I’m a lemon, but I’ve never had these issues with any other dental practice. I have high hopes for Empire Dental, because as I stated, they have tons of great reviews and lots of people are happy with their services. Two stars because some of the staff are genuinely really nice.
