This was my first visit to Penfield Dental as a new patient. Having moved away from my longtime family dentist, I was very nervous to try a new office. The receptionist was so kind when I called to book the initial appointment, and she was all smiles when I finally came in person. The new patient exam is hands-down the most thorough dental exam I’ve ever experienced. Davis was my hygienist, and she is exceptional at what she does. Her passion for her work was palpable throughout the entire exam. Davis was extremely proficient with all of the technology used, and she explained every step she was taking. I felt very comfortable, and by the time I left, they had my full trust. Dr. Hashemi was very nice, and it seems like she’s fostered a fun and friendly environment for the hygienists. They were all kind to each other and willing to help each other out, which was really cool to see. I daresay, I am looking forward to my next cleaning in six months. Keep up the good work, guys!

Had my first appointment as a new patient and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Admittedly, I had not kept up with regular dental visits to my old dentist, so I was a bit anxious going in as a new patient behind on my care-- they did a wonderful job keeping me at ease throughout the initial visit. Julie was fantastic at explaining every detail of my check-up/cleaning, and has my teeth looking/feeling the best they have in a while; Dr. Jay also level-set my dental health path going forward during his review. Overall, very happy not only with this appointment, but to have any potential anxiety about future dental visits already gone.
Dr. Hashemi is a wonderful dentist. She is kind and takes her time with our visits. My entire family now sees her, and all of us feel that we are in the best of hands under her care. The office staff is also friendly here, and it’s easy to schedule appointments.
Do not recommend. First dentist was extremely pushy. Second lasted maybe two months. There was no dentist for a few months and had to go to another practice to finish out my Invisalign. Now there seems to be issues with hygienists…too much turnover for my liking. The office is nice and clean. I really wanted to continue here as location is convenient but the other issues outweigh the convenience.
