I cannot recommend this office enough! After suffering with tooth issues for over a decade and bouncing between different dentists, I finally found a place where I feel at home. Miss Mona is truly the best-she is so kind-hearted, understanding, and made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. It's because of her that I won't go anywhere else. Dr. Khoury is also a wonderful person and is doing a great job with my dental work; I'm already seeing amazing results. On top of the great care, they were so compassionate about my financial situation, offering me discounts since my insurance didn't cover everything. I am truly grateful for them both! 🙏🏼

Review of Boynton Dental – Bronx, New York On Saturday, the 14th of February 2026 I visited Boynton Dental to have mild tooth pain evaluated. X-rays were taken and I was seated for examination. The assistant prepared the instruments. When the dentist entered, he asked what brought me in. I explained I was there because of tooth pain. Without conducting an oral examination or looking inside my mouth, the dentist stated he was referring me to oral surgery to remove four teeth. There was no visual exam, no probing, no discussion of alternative treatment options, and no diagnostic explanation. Making a surgical extraction recommendation without examination raises serious concerns regarding professional standards of care. This is the same dental office who previously placed a cap for me. The cap failed shortly after placement, causing the underlying tooth to fracture. When I contacted the office, I was told I would have to wait two weeks for an appointment despite the urgency created by their prior work. The office administration appears disorganized and poorly supervised, from front desk handling to clinical coordination. On February 24, I received a call from my insurance carrier informing me that a claim for a crown and two implants had been submitted and denied. No crown or implant procedures were performed or talked about . When I asked the front desk at the time of my visit whether I would be charged for anything, I was told no. Submitting claims for services not rendered may violate: New York Penal Law § 176.05–176.35 (Insurance Fraud) New York Education Law § 6530 (Professional Misconduct – Fraudulent Practice) 18 U.S.C. § 1347 (Federal Health Care Fraud Statute) Billing for unperformed procedures can constitute insurance fraud under both state and federal law. I immediately notified my insurance company because this appeared improper. The only reason I discovered the issue was because my insurance coverage had recently changed and the carrier flagged the claim. Patients trust licensed professionals to act ethically and in accordance with accepted standards of care. Recommending extractions without examination and submitting claims for procedures not performed undermines that trust. Based on my experience, I strongly caution others to review all insurance claims carefully and obtain second opinions before consenting to major dental procedure

I would rate this facility extremely poorly due to my ongoing difficulty in obtaining an appointment. For the past year and a half, I have repeatedly called in an effort to schedule a visit. On most occasions, the phone rings continuously with no answer. When calls are answered, I am often directed to voicemail without resolution. Additionally, when I have attempted to ask for clarification regarding appointment availability or the repeated issues with phone access, my calls have been abruptly disconnected. I understand that working in a high-demand community setting can be challenging. However, consistent access to care and professional communication are fundamental expectations in any healthcare environment. As a healthcare professional myself, I recognize the pressures staff may face, but patients deserve timely responses, respectful communication, and reasonable appointment access. I hope the administration will review these concerns and implement improvements in phone management, scheduling processes, and staff training to better serve the community.

Unfortunately, my experience with Dr. Karim was extremely bad. After receiving treatment, my teeth were seriously damaged and I ended up losing three molars due to poor and negligent work. I wanted to file a lawsuit, but unfortunately more than two years have passed, which prevented me from doing so. I strongly advise everyone not to go to this clinic. The service feels exploitative, the work is unprofessional, and it seems they use low-quality materials that cause more problems instead of fixing them. This was a very painful experience, both physically and financially. I hope anyone considering this clinic will think twice.

The service here is okay overall, but the receptionist is consistently rude and makes every interaction unpleasant. Every time I’ve dealt with her whether it’s over the phone or in person she has a very nasty, dismissive attitude. It feels like any question or concern I bring up is immediately brushed off, like I’m bothering her just for asking for help. For someone working at the front desk, the lack of basic courtesy is honestly shocking. She often sounds irritated, impatient, and completely uninterested in actually helping patients. It creates a very uncomfortable experience and leaves a terrible impression of the place. Management should seriously address this because the receptionist’s attitude alone is enough to make people not want to come back.
