My son was seen by Dr. Dharia and she put me at ease with all info and explained everything my son needed for his dental surgery. She is a very professional and her office is very clean and kid friendly.
Dr. Mizrahi – Simply the Best! I came in for a filling expecting to see my regular dentist, but instead I had the pleasure of being treated by Dr. Mizrahi. At first, I was a little hesitant since I was so used to my regular dentist’s gentle touch. Dr. Mizrahi overheard my concern, reassured me, and promised to be gentle. She truly delivered—my experience was fantastic! Dr. Mizrahi was kind, patient, and incredibly gentle throughout the entire process. She made me feel completely comfortable and at ease.
If you have third-party insurance, they will not understand how to contact them nor will because i called them 2 times with the number they needed and how to get the right person and promised “they would call back later” yet, i received no calls! I had zero notes in my file till the third time i called where the person said they would put it in file. I HAD to call my third party then merge them together in order for them to do something and actually call me back(without actually understanding that they cannot contact the insurance directly and they would have to call the company holding the information) They have good service in terms of actually doing the appointment since i agreed to pay out of pocket till they confirmed my insurance since they said they accepted my insurance but now they claim they dont! Absolutely terrible time in terms of insurance however the doctor is nice and the employees i met is nice!
Edit to owners reponse: Your staff failed to communicate that small detail that they are independent contractors. How does the patient know your independent contractors they are out of network if your staff isnt communicating this information out not even one day prior to the appointment. Meanwhile your staff have insurance information ahead of time. Be transparent and stop setting up a money grab for patients! I've been a patient here with thr same insurance in network. Ultimately I have to get my wisdom tooth extraction, I make an appt 2 months waiting period. The receptionist says we will call you in advance since this is a procedure with a cost and review everything in advance. My appointment is 2 weeks out, I reach out and im told we contact the insurance company closer to the day of appointment. Now its 3 days before appointment still pending. I go to the office the day before the procedure to find out the doctor performing the procedure is NOT in network although the referring doctor is and is my primary dentist. And ill have a hefty out of pocket payment. And there is no other doctor in network. Communication is key Especially in customer service!
Beware! You’ll pay your copay, then return for another service and get hit with a surprise balance. I had a filling done, paid my copay in full, and later came back for a cleaning that’s fully covered by my insurance. Before my visit, I saw an email about an owed balance but ignored it because I knew I had paid everything. Mind you I never received a email or text before coming to my appointment about a owed balance. When I checked in, I was told I had a balance and was asked to call the biller, Michelle. She said their software had changed and now I owed $168. They refused to do my cleaning unless I paid the full amount, even though I’ve always paid my copays in full. It’s clear they overcharge insurance and push the balance onto patients. After leaving, Michelle told me I could make payments in two parts — but only after I was turned away. The dentist and hygienist are great, but beware of the billing practices. In times like these, with inflation and a tough economy, no one needs surprise charges like this.
