The technician, Stephen, is knowledgable, timely, and polite. I needed his help for the replacement of my laptop's charging port. He got to work immediately. Inside my laptop, he found and alerted me to preexisting water damage from a bad repair job from a different technician. He treated all issues: installing a replacement charging port, removing lingering moisture, and cleaning corrosion from water damage. During this entire process, he patiently answered my questions about the damage and his repair work. Of the four different highly rated laptop repair shops I've been to in Queens this past year, SD struck me as the most affordable and the most thorough.
Called into Sdigital computer today as my laptop wasn't working and wouldn't turn on. Within minutes they had my laptop turned on. Very knowledgeable and trustworthy. Im having issues with my phone and will definitely be returning to get this fixed. Couldn't believe that he wouldn't take cash after fixing my laptop. I had so much work saved on it and really meant a lot that he could salvage it. Would 100% recommend.
I highly recommend this computer and iphone repair shop. I went in to get my screen protector installed on my iphone. Stephen was super careful and meticulous when putting it on. We chatted for a bit, and you can tell, he is a wealth of knowledge all computer and all apple products. He is passionate about what he does and he offers super fair prices. I will come back for any electronic needs. They replace iphone screens, replace batteries, fix computers and almost any electronic device. You can trust them- they are knowledgeable, honest people.
Got my computer working perfectly for 100s of dollars less than anyone else in Astoria. DO NOT try to get a Mac repaired through the Apple repair service if you’re past warranty, as they will just replace the entire motherboard and charge over $1000. I was shocked to see that every other shop I talked to around here was ready to do the same thing. Stephen found that it was simply a damaged connector for my charging cable and had it fixed in a few days, and even offered to give and install me a new phone screen protector for free. Laptop has been working better than before for two months now.
