The dentist is a good dentist but I was unfortunately lied to by a staff member. When I arrived for a consultation I was told I needed to get X-rays. However, I told the assistant I have copies of my X-rays I took elsewhere because I don’t think my insurance would cover additional ones. She left me in the room and told me she will go check if my insurance covers additional X-rays and then came back and told me they will cover it. However now I’m being charged because my insurance denied it. I called the office to explained what I was told and the person at the front desk was so rude and told me well maybe the assistant was confused and maybe I should have not believe her and go ask the front desk. She said now is my responsibility to pay the bill of $249 for the X-rays. I said so the assistant lied to me and the receptionist just told me if there is anything else she can help me with. I first paid for a CBCT scan and now I was lied about the coverage of extra X-rays. This is absurd.
