I’ve been coming to Astoria Dental Group for 2 years. Dr. Degel, his team, Carlemi and Nicole are great! They always make every visit comfortable and pleasant. Highly recommend!

I was quoted $100 over the phone for an oral cancer screening. I came in, the doctor looked at my lower lip, x-rayed my mouth and charged me $300. I didn’t ask for x-rays, I asked for an oral cancer screening. I agreed to the x-rays because I assumed they were a normal part of this screening. When I questioned the price since I had been quoted $100 over the phone, the receptionist kindly went to ask the dentist for clarification and he said since they gave me x-rays, they had to charge me 300. he also suggested I get Invisalign for my lower teeth to stop the irritation of my bottom lip. So as far as I’m concerned, this is not a doctor. This is a salesman. The receptionist was very kind and helpful. However, I’m still out $300 and the dentist told me to google what mouthwash to use.

Please be careful. This is a spam. The dentist Degel is going to charge you bone, transplant, panoramic X-rays, and more Bosheath. That it’s going to cost you a lot more. I was scammed out of almost $4,000. And please don't pay in cash because then they'll tell you didn't pay, and you'll end up paying twice for one treatment. My two sons that are 19 and 20 years old, they went to removed two molars each of them and they add bone transplant, surgery, and my kids never had a bone transplant and stitches and I never received a the detail bill and when I gave them the picture of my visa. The manager who "works from home" took three months to tell me that my insurance no longer covered my children. If she had given me that information earlier, it would have saved me a lot of grief and a huge scam. If Astoria Dental Group don’t have patients it’s because they don’t take care of your teeth it’s because they scam people.
