Customer Reviews
I recently went to Dr. Nicole Lam for the first time. I hadn't been to a dentist in quite sometime because my last dentist in Illinois was rude and kept gouging me for unnecessary fees. So I was cynical about going to a dentist. Things got worse and I looked up local dentists and found Dr. Lam. I read previous views that shared she was informative and gentle. That is true, Dr. Lam is very friendly and professional. Her office was very kind and helpful, but most of all Dr. Lam renewed a sense of trust as a dentist. I am grateful she was so understanding and appreciated her suggestions. I will definitely come back.
Office is nice and clean. Front desk is amazing. X rays were quick. The dentist went over everything me with my concerns and my X-rays. I was extremely impressed by the staff.
They are the best! Dr. Lam is very kind and it’s easy to get an appointment. Big shout out to the hygienists who take extra care to make sure it’s a quick and painless appointment!
I never heard back about issues regarding insurance, some of the dental staff are either rude or deeply impersonable, and it always felt deeply unorganized. The only saving grace were the front desk staff. They were very nice. Honestly, I would avoid entirely.
Charging $1,000 to my insurance without any explanation. Did not tell me my insurance is out of network and performed x ray scans and teeth screening without any explanation, when my reservation was just for dental cleaning. There was no oral or written agreement about the services they will perform to me or notice about the cost.
I called to ask about the bill, and they said they accept what insurance pays, and there will be no charge to me, and they perform those scanning to first time patient. She also said I should be the one asking why they are doing x rays and other examinations. The lady on call knows they are not doing the business right, so she rather decide to be extreme effrontery and blame me. No apologies at all.
Even there is no charge to me, it surprised me that the bill was 1k, and they did not explain anything to rip off my insurance. If you are not even going to tell patients if this place accept my insurance or not, what are those desk staffs are doing? Arguing with patient ?
This place is Extremely sneaky and unreliable.
I waited an hour even I got there on time. The dental hygienist can’t do her job right- she kept hurting my gum.
It used almost majority of the limited coverage that my insurance have for out of network services.
They charged high cost initially and negotiate with the insurance pay up to the range it covers. Total scam.
