About

Beautiful Smiles Dental Associates is a premier dental practice situated in the heart of Midtown Manhattan at 2 West 46th Street, Suite 1003, 10th Floor, New York, NY 10036, delivering exceptional oral healthcare with a focus on both functionality and aesthetics. Established as a trusted name in the bustling New York dental scene, the practice has built a reputation for excellence through its commitment to state-of-the-art technology, patient-centered care, and a comprehensive range of services tailored to meet the diverse needs of individuals and families alike. While specific founding dates are not detailed in available records, the tenure of key providers like Dr. Irina Reyzelman, who has been serving patients since 2001, and Dr. Helma Philips with over 20 years in dentistry, underscores a legacy of experienced leadership dating back more than two decades.[1][6]

The mission of Beautiful Smiles Dental Associates revolves around fostering lifelong healthy teeth and gums while enhancing the beauty and confidence of every smile. They firmly believe that a radiant smile not only boosts self-esteem but also contributes to overall well-being, influencing one's outlook and quality of life. This philosophy drives their preventative approach, where digital X-rays, intraoral photos, and detailed patient education empower individuals to understand their oral health and the rationale behind recommended treatments. Punctuality is a hallmark—appointments start on time, and the team accommodates busy schedules to ensure efficient visits without compromising care.[1][2]

At the core of their expertise is a multidisciplinary team of skilled dentists, including Dr. Bomi Cha, who earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from NYU College of Dentistry and completed advanced residency training in general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, and more; Dr. Andrew Ibrahim, a Stony Brook University graduate dedicated to continuing education; Dr. Mariam Naeem, Dr. Jake Lee, Dr. Sapna Punj, Dr. Anna Kwasnik, Dr. Edward Wong, and pioneers like Dr. Helma Philips, renowned for metal-free dentistry over the past 15 years, and Dr. Irina Reyzelman, celebrated for gentle, pain-free procedures.[1][5][6] This collective proficiency spans general dentistry, cosmetic enhancements, restorative solutions, and specialized treatments, positioning the practice as a one-stop destination for all dental needs.

Services at Beautiful Smiles are extensive, encompassing preventative care like cleanings and oral cancer screenings, restorative options such as crowns, bridges, implants, root canals, and dentures, cosmetic transformations including teeth whitening, porcelain veneers, Lumineers, smile makeovers, Botox, and dermal fillers, as well as orthodontics with Invisalign and braces for all ages, periodontal therapy, oral surgery, wisdom teeth extractions, TMJ treatment, sleep apnea solutions, sedation dentistry, and emergency care. Their adoption of cutting-edge tools like digital radiography ensures precise diagnostics and comfortable experiences, from gentle cleanings to complex procedures.[1][2][6]

What truly sets Beautiful Smiles Dental Associates apart is their unique value proposition: a seamless blend of advanced technology, personalized attention, and holistic outcomes. Unlike many practices that prioritize volume over quality, they emphasize patient comfort, education, and efficiency in a modern, welcoming facility. Dr. Philips' pioneering work in metal-free materials appeals to health-conscious patients seeking biocompatible options, while multilingual providers like Dr. Cha (fluent in Korean) cater to New York's diverse population. Patient testimonials rave about pain-free crowns, exceptional hygienists, and life-changing results, reflected in consistent 5-star reviews.[2][6] They go beyond traditional dentistry by offering Botox and dermal fillers for facial aesthetics, integrating oral health with overall appearance enhancement.

Accessibility is another differentiator, with flexible hours from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday, and patient-friendly financial options including an in-house dental savings plan (initial $129 enrollment, $99 annual renewal) for uninsured individuals, Sunbit financing up to 72 months without hard credit checks, and participation in various insurance networks—though specific insurers are not listed. Their new patient process is streamlined: online forms, comprehensive exams with intraoral cameras, and prompt discussions of health goals ensure a stress-free start.[1][2][7] In a city where time is precious, Beautiful Smiles stands out by respecting schedules, minimizing wait times, and delivering transformative results that inspire confidence. Whether it's a routine check-up, emergency extraction, or full smile makeover, this practice redefines dental care in Midtown East, proving that beautiful smiles are not just possible—they're a lifelong reality.[1][2][6]

Another great experience today. Had my teeth bleached and they came out amazing! Would love to give 10++++ stars if I could!!! Great office! I can’t believe anyone gets less that 5 STAR service here. I have been a patient here for more than 18 years and can say for sure it is by far the best dental office I had encountered!!! Dr. Sapna and Dr. Cha are truly the best and their work is phenomenal- always painless and fast. I had been seen by other doctors as well and all are amazing - I don’t think I can ever go to a different dentist. Hygienist Alma gives the most comfortable and thorough cleanings. Office staff is amazing- always friendly and will go out of their way to make whatever accommodations you may need! I am a forever grateful patient of Beautiful Smiles Dental Associates !

I would recommend Beautiful Smiles to anyone looking for THE PLACE to find good care, excellent dentists, in a state of the art facility. The staff is very courteous and professional. The doctors take their time explaining every procedure and discussing options available with you.

The whole team at Beautiful Smiles is amazing. As someone with possibly the worst teeth on the planet 🤣 - they never make me feel awkward or like I’m being judged - which is big for me. The attention to detail and understanding of the best solutions for me both short and long term really makes me happy with each visit, and why I’ve been going back for years now. The hygienist, Tatsiana is always mindful of my teeth and gum sensitivities and I definitely appreciate that. The entire staff from the front of the office to the dental assistants are all pleasant and amazing at that they do! 10/10

Response: the Dentist did not thoroughly examine me - she said I had no issue - spend no more than 10 mins and gas lit me and forced me to pay for sitting in the chair - a few days later I developed pus proving there was an infection you over looked. I can upload a pic. The first dentist I saw was excellent—she understood my issue right away, was polite, helpful, and resolved the problem. That’s exactly why I chose to return. Unfortunately, my second visit was completely different and a mess! Despite clearly requesting a full one-hour appointment on any available day, I was squeezed into a shorter time slot. I ended up waiting alone in the room for over an hour before having to get up and ask what was going on. During that time, the receptionist repeatedly spoke over me, attempted to diagnose my condition herself, and dismissed my concerns entirely. Eventually, a different dentist came in—she spent no more than ten minutes with me and immediately began pushing for additional, expensive X-rays. I explained that I had already completed the scan she was recommending and even had the results with me, but once again, I wasn’t listened to. When I politely declined and asked her not to touch my teeth, she followed me to the reception desk and continued pressuring me to proceed with the scan so I spend more money. I had to firmly ask her to step back. Despite receiving no care and being left waiting, I was still charged $150. The entire experience was draining and, frankly, dehumanizing.

This is the worst dentist practice ever! The dentist I've been seeing! for years in a different practice, Dr. Phillips, left and I was given Dr. Mariam Naeem. She is the worst! She gave me a root canal and a new crown and it really really hurt! I'm seeing a great new dentist who said that the tooth next to the crown was chipped (I wonder how) so he fixed it. Do not go to this practice!!
