About

Beautiful Smiles Dental Associates is a premier dental practice situated in the heart of Midtown Manhattan at 2 West 46th Street, Suite 1003, 10th Floor, New York, NY 10036, delivering exceptional oral healthcare to patients of all ages. Renowned for its state-of-the-art facility and commitment to patient-centered care, the practice has established itself as a trusted destination for families and professionals seeking comprehensive dental solutions in a bustling urban environment.[1][3] The team's dedication to enhancing both the health and aesthetics of smiles underscores their philosophy that a beautiful, well-maintained smile profoundly impacts overall well-being, self-esteem, and quality of life.[1]

While specific founding dates are not detailed in available records, Beautiful Smiles Dental Associates embodies a modern approach to dentistry, leveraging the latest advancements in technology such as digital X-rays and intraoral photography to empower patients with visual insights into their oral health. This transparency fosters informed decision-making and builds lasting trust, setting the practice apart in an industry often criticized for opacity.[1][6] The mission is clear and unwavering: to promote healthy teeth and gums for life through rigorous preventative care, timely interventions, and personalized treatment plans. They prioritize punctuality and flexibility, accommodating busy schedules to ensure efficient visits without compromising quality— a rarity in high-demand Midtown locations.[1][3]

The practice offers an extensive array of services encompassing preventative, restorative, cosmetic, orthodontic, endodontic, and periodontal treatments, making it a one-stop solution for diverse dental needs. From emergency care for sudden pain or trauma to advanced cosmetic smile makeovers, porcelain veneers, teeth whitening, dental implants, crowns, bridges, root canal therapy, dentures, nightguards, tooth-colored fillings, sedation dentistry, Invisalign, and braces, their portfolio addresses everything from routine maintenance to complex reconstructions.[1][3][7] This breadth ensures that every family member, from children to seniors, receives tailored care under one roof, eliminating the need for multiple specialists.[3]

Expertise is at the core of Beautiful Smiles Dental Associates, led by a skilled team of dentists including Dr. Bomi Cha, Dr. Andrew Ibrahim, Dr. Mariam Naeem, Dr. Jake Lee, Dr. Sapna Punj, and Dr. Wong, among others. These professionals bring proficiency across preventive care, endodontics, restorative procedures, and orthodontics, with a shared ethos of upholding the highest standards of care.[1][3][5] Dr. Wong, for instance, exemplifies this through his comprehensive skill set and patient-focused values.[3] The practice's unique value proposition lies in its holistic integration of cutting-edge technology with compassionate, individualized attention. Patients appreciate not just the clinical excellence but the welcoming atmosphere where first visits include thorough medical and dental history reviews, digital diagnostics, and clear explanations of recommended treatments—often expedited via downloadable new patient forms.[6]

What truly distinguishes Beautiful Smiles Dental Associates from competitors is their emphasis on education and prevention as cornerstones of long-term oral health. By involving patients in their care through visual aids and biannual check-up recommendations, they reduce future complications and promote proactive wellness.[1][3][7] Their orthodontic services, informed by historical milestones like Edward Angle's foundational work, cater to all ages, correcting issues from crowding and bite irregularities to cosmetic enhancements, with treatments ranging from six months to three years.[7] Sedation options make procedures comfortable for anxious patients, while family-friendly hours (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM) and easy accessibility via major subway lines (A, B, C, D, E, F, M) and buses (M5, M6, M7) enhance convenience.[3][6]

In a city saturated with dental options, Beautiful Smiles stands out for its reputation built on consistent, high-quality care and strong community relationships. Reviews highlight exceptional service, and their Midtown East location positions them ideally for quick appointments amid demanding lifestyles.[4][5] Whether restoring function with implants and root canals or transforming appearances with veneers and whitening, the practice delivers results that boost confidence and functionality. Their preventative focus—stressing early orthodontic evaluations by age seven—aligns with professional guidelines from bodies like the American Association of Orthodontists, ensuring straighter teeth that are easier to clean and less prone to future issues.[7] Ultimately, Beautiful Smiles Dental Associates redefines dental visits as pleasant, efficient experiences leading to lifelong smiles, making them the go-to choice for Midtown dental excellence.[1][3] (Word count: 728)

I would recommend Beautiful Smiles to anyone looking for THE PLACE to find good care, excellent dentists, in a state of the art facility. The staff is very courteous and professional. The doctors take their time explaining every procedure and discussing options available with you.

The whole team at Beautiful Smiles is amazing. As someone with possibly the worst teeth on the planet 🤣 - they never make me feel awkward or like I’m being judged - which is big for me. The attention to detail and understanding of the best solutions for me both short and long term really makes me happy with each visit, and why I’ve been going back for years now. The hygienist, Tatsiana is always mindful of my teeth and gum sensitivities and I definitely appreciate that. The entire staff from the front of the office to the dental assistants are all pleasant and amazing at that they do! 10/10

This dentist has some of the friendliest people I’ve ever met. They are also very patient. If you ask them to stop they’ll stop right away. They do a great job!

Response: the Dentist did not thoroughly examine me - she said I had no issue - spend no more than 10 mins and gas lit me and forced me to pay for sitting in the chair - a few days later I developed pus proving there was an infection you over looked. I can upload a pic. The first dentist I saw was excellent—she understood my issue right away, was polite, helpful, and resolved the problem. That’s exactly why I chose to return. Unfortunately, my second visit was completely different and a mess! Despite clearly requesting a full one-hour appointment on any available day, I was squeezed into a shorter time slot. I ended up waiting alone in the room for over an hour before having to get up and ask what was going on. During that time, the receptionist repeatedly spoke over me, attempted to diagnose my condition herself, and dismissed my concerns entirely. Eventually, a different dentist came in—she spent no more than ten minutes with me and immediately began pushing for additional, expensive X-rays. I explained that I had already completed the scan she was recommending and even had the results with me, but once again, I wasn’t listened to. When I politely declined and asked her not to touch my teeth, she followed me to the reception desk and continued pressuring me to proceed with the scan so I spend more money. I had to firmly ask her to step back. Despite receiving no care and being left waiting, I was still charged $150. The entire experience was draining and, frankly, dehumanizing.

This is the worst dentist practice ever! The dentist I've been seeing! for years in a different practice, Dr. Phillips, left and I was given Dr. Mariam Naeem. She is the worst! She gave me a root canal and a new crown and it really really hurt! I'm seeing a great new dentist who said that the tooth next to the crown was chipped (I wonder how) so he fixed it. Do not go to this practice!!
