About

Century Dental Associates stands as a premier dental practice in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, offering a harmonious blend of cutting-edge technology, comprehensive care, and a deeply patient-centered philosophy. Located at 18 E 41st St on the 1st Floor, this practice is a beacon of oral health for the bustling New York City community, serving everyone from busy professionals and families to visitors seeking world-class dental care. Founded on the principle that exceptional dentistry is both an art and a science, the practice has built a reputation for excellence, compassion, and results that not only enhance smiles but also improve overall health and confidence. The history of Century Dental Associates is rooted in a commitment to progressive dentistry. Established to fill a need for high-quality, accessible dental care in the Murray Hill/Grand Central area, the practice has evolved by consistently integrating the latest technological advancements while maintaining the timeless values of personalized attention and trust. The team believes that a visit to the dentist should be a positive, educational, and comfortable experience, fundamentally shifting the anxiety often associated with dental care. This philosophy is embedded in every interaction, from the warm greeting at the reception to the detailed chairside explanations and gentle techniques employed during treatment. The mission of Century Dental Associates is straightforward yet profound: to provide exceptional dental care in a comfortable, state-of-the-art environment that prioritizes the individual needs and goals of each patient. They aim to be lifelong partners in their patients' oral health journeys, focusing on preventive care and patient education to minimize invasive procedures and promote lasting wellness. The practice operates on the core belief that oral health is intrinsically linked to systemic health, and their care plans reflect this holistic understanding. Services at Century Dental Associates are remarkably comprehensive, covering every facet of modern dentistry. The practice is a full-service clinic, meaning patients can receive everything from routine cleanings and exams to advanced restorative and cosmetic procedures all under one roof. This eliminates the need for referrals to unfamiliar specialists and ensures continuity of care managed by a cohesive team. The expertise of the dental professionals is broad and deep, with doctors who are skilled in complex treatments such as dental implants, root canal therapy, periodontal care, and full-mouth rehabilitations. What truly sets Century Dental Associates apart is its unique value proposition, which rests on three pillars: technological sophistication, unparalleled convenience, and a genuinely caring atmosphere. The office is equipped with advanced digital technology, including intraoral cameras, digital X-rays, and likely CAD/CAM systems for same-day restorations. This technology not only improves diagnostic accuracy and treatment outcomes but also enhances patient comfort and efficiency. The Midtown location is exceptionally convenient for those working in or commuting through the Grand Central area, often offering flexible scheduling to accommodate demanding lifestyles. Furthermore, the practice distinguishes itself through its meticulous attention to detail and aesthetic excellence. Understanding that patients in New York City have high expectations for cosmetic results, the team excels in creating natural-looking, beautiful smiles using porcelain veneers, teeth whitening, and invisible aligners. Their approach is collaborative, spending considerable time in consultation to understand each patient's vision before crafting a customized treatment plan. The environment itself is designed to be a serene retreat from the city's chaos, featuring a modern, clean, and calming decor. In a city with no shortage of dental options, Century Dental Associates carves out a distinctive niche by refusing to be an impersonal, assembly-line clinic. It is a practice where patients are known by name, where treatment is never rushed, and where the entire team is dedicated to building long-term, trusting relationships. This commitment to personalized care, combined with top-tier clinical expertise and a premier location, makes Century Dental Associates a standout choice for anyone seeking a dental practice that truly cares for the person behind the smile.

The doctor is a saint and his staff are very friendly.? I’ve been working with the team as a patient since 2014 and wouldn’t dream of finding another. I highly recommend.

Nice and personable Dr. but even 15 plus years after seeing him I still wonder whether getting my only ever root canal was necessary. At that time his office was in Wall Street, I see he and his sister (also a dentist Dr. Jacklin Morovati) have separated their joint business and moved to separate locations. I had come to Dr. Morovati for molar tooth pain and he showed me on the X-rays there were bubble like shapes which he said indicated I needed a root canal and that unfortunately my dental insurance would not cover it. He charged me about $3000 plus dollars out of pocket which I could not pay upfront and paid in installments. Until today I still wonder whether whether this root canal was necessary and have never forgotten this experience with a dentist. Something just did not feel right and the cost felt excessive. I see that the same red flags continue so I thought it important to also post about it. On a positive note I haven’t had any problems with this root canal but I truly wonder if I even needed it in the first place. Did he just do an unnecessary expensive procedure for his monetary gain? I will never know but this ugly feeling has never gone away (call it a gut instinct) and it’s validating to see that others have had similar experiences. I do not recommend this doctor.

I chose this place because it was in network and close to my office but i think this place is a scam. Was told by the doctor that I had 5 cavaties and that my previous fillings were not done correctly and also needed to be replaced. Left with a lot of anxiety about my dental health. Went to another doctor recommened by a friend and he said I had 2 cavaties but other than that my teeth were in good shape. Can't believe licensed professionals are getting away with lying to their patients like this.
