Edwards College of Dental Medicine in 2014 and completed a rigorous one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency. Her dedication to professional development is evidenced by her achievement of Diplomate status with the American Board of General Dentistry (ABGD) and her fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), recognizing her commitment to continuing education and clinical excellence.

What sets Chelsea Dental Studio apart from competitors is its unwavering commitment to customized treatment planning. This personalized methodology ensures that patients receive exactly what they need without unnecessary procedures or excessive costs. The practice explicitly focuses on 'cutting the unnecessary extras without compromising results,' making high-quality dental care accessible and affordable for the Chelsea community.

The studio's comprehensive service offerings span the full spectrum of dental care. In comprehensive dentistry, the practice provides thorough examinations that include visual inspection of teeth, gums, head, neck, oral soft tissues, and jaw joints, complemented by diagnostic imaging and oral cancer screening. Cosmetic dentistry services include both in-office and at-home teeth whitening, tooth-colored fillings, tooth-colored crowns, implants, and dentures. For patients with orthodontic needs, the practice offers specialized care, and children receive age-appropriate dental services designed to establish healthy habits from an early age. The practice also provides sedation dentistry options, including oral sedatives and nitrous oxide, for patients who experience anxiety or require additional comfort during procedures.

Specialty care services round out the practice's offerings, including oral surgery, tooth extractions, gum treatments, crown lengthening, and root canal therapy. This comprehensive range of services means that patients can receive virtually all their dental needs in one convenient location, reducing the need for referrals to multiple specialists.

Chelsea Dental Studio places significant emphasis on patient education and empowerment. New patients are welcomed with a thorough consultation that reviews medical history, dental health status, and specific concerns. The practice believes that informed patients make better decisions about their care and are more likely to achieve optimal outcomes. The welcoming environment and focus on education create a positive experience that encourages patients to maintain regular dental visits and take an active role in their oral health.

The practice's commitment to accessibility extends beyond clinical care to include website accessibility and multiple communication channels. The studio maintains an accessibility statement and provides alternative communication methods for patients with specific needs, demonstrating a genuine commitment to serving all members of the community.

Located at 420 W. 23rd Street in Chelsea, the practice is conveniently situated in one of Manhattan's most vibrant neighborhoods. The practice accepts a wide range of insurance plans and offers flexible payment options, including Care Credit, cash, check, credit cards, and online bill pay, ensuring that financial considerations do not prevent patients from accessing quality dental care.

Dr. Daniel's transition from a distinguished 13-year military dental career to private practice reflects her desire to provide more personalized, comprehensive care in a setting where she can build lasting relationships with her patients. Her background includes service at multiple duty locations, including Virginia, Okinawa, Parris Island, and Fort Sam Houston, bringing diverse clinical experience and a deep understanding of patient care excellence. Her Master's degree in Oral Biology from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences at Walter Reed Military Hospital further demonstrates her commitment to advancing her knowledge and skills.

Chelsea Dental Studio represents the convergence of clinical expertise, modern technology, patient-centered philosophy, and genuine care. I wanted to take a moment to thank Dr. Cate Daniel for such a pleasant first visit! I truly appreciated how thoroughly she explained my care and took the time to walk me through everything, it made me feel very comfortable and well cared for. I also wanted to share how incredibly helpful it was to have Granger (her doggie) there! Dental visits tend to make me increasingly stressed, especially due to my teeth sensitivity, and having her partner in crime present was genuinely therapeutic for me. It made a noticeable difference in calming my nerves and helped turn what is usually an anxious experience into a much more positive one. Please continue bringing him in! Thanks again. Looking forward to my next visit.

I had such a great experience here! As a new patient, I was pleasantly surprised by their professionalism and kindness. Everything was handled perfectly, with no hidden fees or unexpected charges. I highly recommend this office, especially Dr. Lee! He took the time to explain everything beforehand and provided excellent care. If you’ve ever felt nervous about going to the dentist, this is the place that will put your worries to rest.

Most people wouldn't think to describe having your wisdom tooth removed as a great experience, yet here I am taking the time to report just that. I was experiencing a tooth ache that resulted in waking up to a swollen face and I knew I had to get something done about ~whatever~ could be the source of this discomfort. I had been to Chelsea Dental Studio twice before for routine cleanings, so I gave them a call to see how soon I could get this looked at. Ashley (the friendliest person ever) told me to come in that same day to get this sorted. Here's where the story gets good. Dr. Cate took a look and immediately saw the wisdom tooth in question had become infected. She laid out two options for me: 1. Get on antibiotics to reduce the minimal swelling to mitigate the risk of discomfort during the procedure and come back in a week 2. Extend my lunch break and pull the tooth out right now I didn't go to dental school, so I wasn't sure what to think... Dr. Cate was incredible with her ability to level with me and build enough trust between us for me to arrive at the conclusion that I'll get the tooth yanked. The procedure went exactly according to plan... I think? I didn't go under and experienced 0 pain! I required no stitches and I was back to work the very next day feeling so glad I got this handled so quickly. (My face was swollen and coworkers could not believe I elected to come in to the office but that's neither here nor there) Thank you to the amazing team at Chelsea Dental Studio for the professionalism and incredible care for their patients!

DO NOT COME HERE because of OUTDATED HIGH RATING! I had a great experience with Dr. Rammal & team, but I think they had mostly moved to a different practice. I cannot tell definitely about the new doctor and assistance team, but scheduling my appointment without an explicit notice about change of doctor was already a big red flag. The doctor is not even in-network for my insurance.

I used to be very happy with Dr. Rammal. I didn't know he was no longer there when I went the last time a few weeks ago. He used to do even the cleaning himself. Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with the new dentist and I am not going again. 1. The office was outdated before, but I was happy with the service. Now there was some new cheap chair; the armrests wiggled and moved in all directions, making it super uncomfortable and, in my case with a herniated disk, even unsafe when I was trying to lift myself up to spit. I've never experienced a chair like that... 2. The numbing injection was administered without notice or being asked, and it was so strong that half of my mouth was numb the entire evening for a little cavity work. I don't recall such an experience, except probably when my wisdom teeth were removed. 3. I would have said nothing about points 1 and 2 and wouldn't be writing this review if my tooth didn't still hurt weeks after the procedure. I am not going back there to see what's going on; I will find another place.
