I was pleased with my teeth cleaning appointment. The hygienist, Carmen, was gentle and thorough. My teeth feel incredibly smooth and look noticeably brighter. The whole experience was quick, and comfortable. Great dentist! Highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for a great dental experience!
Cohen dental at 100 Aldrich street is amazing. From the front Desk lady (Ms. Soraya) I'm not sure of the spelling of her name but it sounds like how I spelled. Ms. Carmen who took x- of my teeth and also cleaned my teeth. Carmen is very quiet and doesn't resly say much but I made her talk and laughed throughout until I left. I told Carmen that I have a friend by the same name who is a social worker. After the cleaning, Dr. K came and assessed my teeth and told me to visit q 6 months. He is very knowledgeable, young guy and down to earth. My copay was waived for some reason. I have lived next to the clinic for over 5 years and didn't know they were the BEST.
Cohen’s Gentle Dental – Truly Gentle and Kind!
I can’t say enough good things about my experience here! The staff at Cohen’s Gentle Dental really live up to their name — they’re gentle, patient, and incredibly kind. I was nervous walking in (and in a lot of pain), but they immediately made me feel calm and cared for.
The dentist, Dr. K explained everything clearly, took his time, and treated me with so much respect and compassion. They didn’t rush or make me feel judged — just genuine care from start to finish.
Don’t let the old reviews scare you off! My experience was completely positive, and I’m so glad I trusted my gut and came here. If you’re looking for a dentist who truly lives up to the word gentle, this is the place!
The name is very misleading because they are definitely not a "Gentle" dentist, however the receptionist was very nice.
The office is tiny and the rooms and equipment look out dated. The man who I believe name was José, took my x-rays and also cleaned my teeth.
He did an okay job with doing the xray no big deal you just point the xray camera thingy to where you want to take the picture. But he did a TERRIBLE job cleaning my teeth. I have never in my life experienced a teeth cleaning the way he did it.
First of all he was rough, second of all he was pressed up against my head which made me uncomfortable especially because he looked unkempt. Third of all there was no type of communication or reassurance while he was cleaning my teeth. And, fourth of all I had to have some xrays retaken after the cleaning and they were uploaded into the wrong chart.
The only reason I MIGHT go back is because its super convenient for me right now (hence the 2 stars) and I need two caps and some fillings which actually I'm skeptical about having done after reading other reviews.
I want to mention again that the receptionist was pleasant which is another reason I gave them 2 stars. If it were not for her I would've have given this office 1 star due to that horrible teeth cleaning.
Worse dentist ever! Been going to this location for 5-6 years and it seems like they were just playing in my mouth. Did a filling in 2024 and my gum start bleeding badly after and food started getting stuck in my tooth. I decided to go to a different dentist who was able to remove the previous filling and redo it properly. Also, my top right wisdom tooth was impacted and Cohen mentioned nothing about this. I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL! They dont even clean your teeth properly.
