The office is very efficiently run. The oral hygienists are caring and thorough, especially "Susanne" (phonetically), who attended me twice. Dr. Convissar is nice and professional. I feel they are honest and I can trust them.
Professional and courteous. Dr Convissar and staff do exceptional dental work and will take their time to do a thorough job on cleanings.
Machines are outdated . My in-law is a dentist and said he can’t believe this office still uses X-ray instead of digital. Came in for a root canal asked to check another tooth that’s hurting me and he said that’s going to have to be done on a different day. And he said since this was an emergency he dosent do root canal he has to send me else where, so instead he did papedemi wtvr that is he said that’s going to hold me until I go to a root canal dentist (real dentist since obviously he isn’t) what type of dentist office dosent do root canal . And when I was making an urgent appointment why wasn’t I told that I should go somewhere else that does root canal instead of me coming in on some temporary fix and charge me 50$ copay and my insurance. And when I asked to check the other tooth at least do an X-ray instead he said nope. I’m giving two stars because he did the temp job pretty quick .
No stars isn’t an option but Convissar deserves none. Convissar placed two molar crowns side by side that decayed within a year. Since I’ve sought professional dentistry elsewhere and needed to have the teeth pulled and implants placed. According to my current dentist the tooth preparations were poorly executed and Convissar refuses to acknowledge his malpractice.
Today has been one of the most traumatic experiences at this dental office. I am sharing to highlight the lack of patience and empathy the dentist had toward me as a first-time patient. After being administered with local anthesia, I was still experiencing pain and expressed this. I was easily and quickly dismissed. The dentist then stated he has been working for 40 years and refused to work on someone who appeared afraid and needed to be put to sleep. I was shocked and disheartened at such treatment and would not wish that on anyone. I did eventually go somewhere else, which took good care of me, did not have to put me to sleep, treated me with respect, and true care.
