Dr. Wasserman is absolutely wonderful. She is everything we could have imagined in a perfect pediatrician. She takes her time, she’s engaging, she’s fun, she’s thorough. She came highly recommended and I can see why. So glad to have found such a warm and thoughtful pediatrician for our 3 boys.

Dr Wasserman is kind, thorough, efficient and an absolute delight with children. She immediately put my three year old at ease with her fun loving, and gentle nature. We breezed through the visit and my daughter let her examine her without a single fuss and even felt comfortable enough to ask questions. Dr Wasserman is a joy and I would highly recommend her to anyone in search of a qualified pediatrician with great kids skills!

We’ve been seeing Dr. Wasserman at Cornell Pediatrics in Tribeca for about a year, beginning when our daughter was just two days old. Overall, she is personable and friendly, which is certainly a quality you want in a pediatrician. However, nothing about her approach has really stood out as exceptional. Most of the information she provides feels general, and while she does her job, it’s often in a basic, straightforward way. For example, we decided to spread out our daughter’s vaccinations, which Dr. Wasserman initially hesitated about but accepted. During one of the nurse visits for the second dose, our baby was sick for the first time. As new parents, we naturally had concerns and asked if Dr. Wasserman could quickly reassure us. We didn’t need a full consultation—just a quick check-in would’ve sufficed. However, the nurse came back to say we’d need to schedule a separate appointment to speak with her, which felt impersonal given our situation. Even a brief reassurance would have gone a long way. Additionally, wait times have been an issue, with us waiting over 45 minutes on some occasions. Despite the delays, her bedside manner remains good but somewhat rushed and routine. Today, for our baby’s one-year visit, we arrived 18 minutes late due to parking challenges. We understood that tardiness might mean a delay, but Dr. Wasserman required us to reschedule entirely rather than fit us in later, which felt unreasonable given our previous wait times. We offered to wait, but were told they’d call us to reschedule instead. In short, Dr. Wasserman provides adequate care but lacks the flexibility or going-the-extra-mile approach we hoped for. While she’s by no means terrible, her approach feels standard. If you’re looking for someone exceptional for your little one, it may be worth considering other options.
