Customer Reviews
I'm a total punk when it comes to visiting the dentist, but Dr. Devoti and his staff made me feel at ease. The office is clean and not dreary, and the staff are nice and considerate. I would recommend this practice to anyone!
Amazingly smooth! I was so worried about the dental work I was about to have done. Dr Devoti and his assistant let me know what was happening at each step of the process and put my mind at ease. It was painless for the most part and I was out within 45 mins.
caring, efficient, delightful, knowledgeable and all qualities that one would appreciate in a care provider. Many thanks.
At first he was personable and polite. My second meeting with him I was informed that I would have to personally get all my former documentation myself from the dental school. I could have been told this in the four weeks preceding our appointment. I would have made sure the documents were transferred. Then last night I get an estimate of $78,000.+ and today the estimate is over $103,000.+
I did not enjoy my experience with Dr. Devoti and will be seeing another dentist from now on. I went in for a filling. He was friendly at first and said just let him know if anything hurts and he will stop immediately. The novocaine hadn't set in yet, and I felt pain when he started drilling. He gave me a second dose, but only waited 1-2 minutes before proceeding. I could still feel the pain, but when I said this he ran me through a series of questions and pokes. I could tell by the line of questioning that he assumed I was nervous and that my pain was psychosomatic. He continued drilling even when I was raising my hand for him to stop. By the time he was near the end of drilling I could tell the novocaine was finally fully kicking in. For fillings in the past I have had to have a second dose of novocaine (while waiting extra time for it to set in), and every dentist always trusts my word that I can still feel the pain and they respond accordingly. Never have I had a dentist that doubted my pain and experience and then kept drilling when I asked them to stop. Medical professionals need to remember they're working with human beings.
