About

Dental Oral Surgery stands as a premier multi-location oral and maxillofacial surgery practice serving the New York City tri-state area, with its Washington Heights office conveniently located at 3915 Broadway #2, New York, NY 10032. This patient-focused establishment has established itself as a go-to destination for comprehensive oral health solutions, particularly for those requiring urgent or specialized surgical interventions. While specific founding dates remain undisclosed in available records, the practice's expansive network of 12 convenient locations—including sites in Manhattan, the Bronx, Queens, Middletown, Poughkeepsie, and Greenwich, CT—suggests a robust history of growth and commitment to accessibility across diverse communities.[1][3][4][6] From its inception, Dental Oral Surgery has prioritized delivering full-scope oral surgery services in modern, comfortable environments, evolving into a leading provider that bridges emergency walk-ins with scheduled advanced procedures.[6]

The mission of Dental Oral Surgery is clear and unwavering: to provide exceptional oral healthcare in a friendly, compassionate setting that ensures the highest level of patient satisfaction. This ethos is embodied in their dedication to making patients feel comfortable, safe, and welcome, especially during emergency oral healthcare needs. The practice accepts almost all insurance plans, accommodates both appointments and walk-ins, and emphasizes a team-oriented approach where experienced oral healthcare providers collaborate to deliver optimal outcomes. Their specialists, many holding distinguished degrees from accredited programs, boast hospital privileges, additional fellowship training, and dual qualifications as medical doctors and oral surgeons. Several continue to teach in academic settings, underscoring a culture of lifelong learning and excellence that directly benefits patients.[6][4]

Services at Dental Oral Surgery encompass a wide spectrum of oral and maxillofacial procedures, with expertise in dental alveolar surgery, wisdom teeth removal, dental implant placement, jaw surgery, and advanced sedation options including IV sedation and general anesthesia. The Washington Heights location, situated at the corner of Broadway and 164th Street, exemplifies this full-service capability, offering everything from initial consultations—where medical and dental histories are reviewed, diagnoses discussed, and treatment options outlined—to same-day surgeries when appropriate. For complex cases involving children, patients with medical conditions or special needs, or those requiring general anesthesia, dedicated consultations ensure thorough preparation. Patients are encouraged to arrive prepared with referral slips, health histories, recent X-rays (including panoramic views from the past six months), medication lists, and insurance cards, fostering efficiency and personalized care.[5][3][7]

What truly sets Dental Oral Surgery apart is its unique value proposition: unparalleled accessibility combined with elite expertise. In a city where timely oral surgery can be challenging to access, their 12 locations eliminate geographic barriers, serving underserved neighborhoods like Washington Heights with phone support at (212) 567-5536 and a central call center at (347) 590-9910. This multi-site model supports emergency walk-ins alongside online booking, making high-quality care available without the typical delays.[1][3][4] Unlike single-location competitors, Dental Oral Surgery's scale enables a streamlined referral process for dental and medical colleagues, with prompt communication and optimal results in procedures like implants and extractions.[7] Their specialists' academic involvement and advanced training distinguish them further, ensuring cutting-edge techniques are applied compassionately.

Patient testimonials highlight both strengths and areas for improvement, reflecting a practice that values inclusivity—welcoming those without insurance or with emergencies—while navigating high-demand environments.[2] The commitment to modern facilities, sedation for anxiety-free experiences, and community service positions Dental Oral Surgery as more than a clinic; it's a vital healthcare partner. Whether addressing routine extractions, complex reconstructions, or urgent traumas, this practice delivers precision, empathy, and reliability. For residents of New York, NY 10032, and beyond, Dental Oral Surgery at 3915 Broadway represents a beacon of specialized oral surgery excellence, ready to restore smiles and confidence with professional prowess.[1][2][5][6] (Word count: 612)

I was able to book an appointment online the same day. I had very little wait time and the staff was courteous. The surgeon did an exceptional job as I chose to forego the anesthesia and was awake during the procedure. Aside from the obvious pressure that would be felt in such a procedure, I did not experience any discomfort.

I will say honestly, I don’t like doctors, dentist, or anything in the medical fields, and it’s not easy for me to trust but here at Dental Oral Surgery I was pleasantly surprised. I entered a facility where I was encouraged to be at ease immediately with gentle beautiful music. They were kind, gentle, professional and patient. They were quick too. Usually you can’t get the above services along with quick. Quick did not mean pushy/annoyed/attitude but they displayed TLC (tender loving care), every single one of them, from the secretaries to the technicians. Since my needs require females only touch me, it was fantastic not to have to compromise my extra-needs-beliefs, respectfully. I would/will recommend them to anyone/everyone I know. I’m glad to have found such a place🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

I received exceptional treatment, characterized by deep respect and patience, which was particularly appreciated given my state of anxiety. I highly recommend your services. The doctor's assistant showed remarkable kindness and respect, while the doctor maintained an outstanding professional level throughout the consultation.

It's a long wait to connect on the phone so you're better off making your appointment online. It's even a longer wait the day of, in a tiny waiting area. BUT the staff is courteous, friendly and professional. The office is clean, quiet and comfortable. The dentists and assistants are caring & patient. Both of my surgeries were done quickly and efficiently, and I recovered well.

This is a really good place with professionals! My healing time is fast and smooth which is a result of the surgery. However the waiting time is kinda ridiculous. My appointment was at 10am and I ended up being attended at 12pm. I bet there’s others with worse timing than mine. This was my second time going and it’s the same thing with the waiting time. Since the waiting space is also very small why can’t they do appointment with a big gap in between them so that way there’s no delays or little to no space while waiting?
