Customer Reviews
I have had several dental implants done in the past , and it is my first time at this dental office . I can honestly say that this practice has very professional, patient, and understanding staff. From the moment I walked in the front door until my treatment was finished, I was feeling the amazing experience, the waiting area , the furniture, the fire place , the decorations not a typical dentist office . Dr. Eldin is one of the best medical professionals I have ever met. He makes you calm, explains everything and had a good sense of humor. The assistants have personality and they are very involved. They are constantly checking up on you, shout out to Stacy , such a wonderful assistant, Very hard to find such kind of staff , My implants were done swiftly and showed great knowledge and confidence. The communication was very profound and it was orchastrated beautifully. Very professional and i have never experienced it before. 5 starts to this office , highly recommended.
SCAM and WASTE of your time!
After completing the standard registration procedure, I was seen by a dentist. His entire consultation lasted only six minutes, during which he tapped my aching tooth and a couple of healthy ones with a metal stick. And I spent for that 1,5 hours of commute. After confirming the previous diagnosis, he sent the clinic manager to clarify the payment details, and that's when the real ordeal began. Please continue reading in the following carousel.
I have dental insurance and am required by the policy to be billed according to my insurance plan. However, the clinic manager presented me with a bill as if I was a walked in client without insurance, and it is 2.5 times more expensive than it should be. When I asked several clarifying questions, the manager smiled and insisted that this was the standard price for their services. I informed her that this was incorrect, and I should be billed according to the insurance policy, not their own prices. I suggested calling the insurance company to clarify all the details. In response, she informed me that I was the last client of the day, and the entire clinic was waiting for my decision on whether to proceed with the procedure now or not. She stated that the clarification procedure could take up to 2 weeks. Seriously? Is this their first time performing a root canal? I felt extremely humiliated by her attitude, and I want to remind you that I had been experiencing a toothache all this time.
Despite the tooth pain, I left the clinic completely hopeless and upset. I don’t know whether this specific attitude towards me was because I am a foreigner or whether this clinic allows itself to operate so unethically in America, deceiving its citizens too. I believe that such deception is unacceptable in principle, and even more so in the healthcare environment
Please avoid this place. I don’t usually write reviews but customer service and most importantly dental work are very poor.
Took both my daughters to this dentist. First off the Madison location is closed, the only location ( 5th ave) is extremely small and cramped. A front staff member, who identified herself as Jennifer, and the manager, was rude. She was so unprofessional. One interaction: She tells me they are not taking my insurance next year( big deal, as we still have pending dental work planned in the new year) then proceeds to scroll on her phone, ignoring me completely. This was just one interaction of several with her, even my daughter commented on her rudeness.
However, most concerning was that my daughter’s crown popped off a week after getting it, like it was applied with elmers glue. I contacted the office and was casually told to find another dentist who is on par with my insurance.
What ultimately prompted me to write this review: Today my one of my daughter’s filling came out after brushing her teeth( filling done less than 3 weeks ago). Dental work is very shoddy and there is zero accountability for this. Crowns should not be popping out and filings crumbling after being done less than 3 weeks ago.
Go somewhere else.
I went to this Toothdocs and was told that I needed to have oral surgery. I provided my insurance and the surgery date was set. When I arrived that morning at 8:00am I was told by the receptionist that Toothdocs would handle insurance and that the reimbursement would come to the office however they wanted payment for over $3k that morning! They signed me up for a care card to cover the payment. Lo and behold eight months later, multiple calls and emails and STILL no reimbursement. Don’t let this office bully you into getting a credit card - walk out and find a place that is competent enough to deal with your insurance. Unbelievable.
Very shady practices. I’ve been there 3 times not and I will never go back. First time I told them I had insurance and told them that I would need a tooth removed after visiting a different doctor they agreed a proceed to try to charge me. I paid and the doctor took the money then put it in to his pocket. The second visit the cancelled on me and rescheduled due to the doctor not being there. Fast forward to today after them seeing my X-rays previous and stating that I needed surgery, he made multiple comments stating he wasn’t comfortable doing it and “black people have 40% more dense bones and it’s hard to do surgery”.
After stating that and waste two months of my time the manger tried to charge my of a consulting fee again after having one back in June. They could have told my they could do it along time ago. I wouldn’t go hear if you value your time, money and sanity.
