I went here for an evaluation and a tooth extraction. In both visits, the staff was friendly and very professional. In one of the visits, I had just got seated in the dental chair and the assistant apologized for the wait. What wait? It was maybe 7 minutes past my appointment time. This type of prompt service is virtually unheard of especially for a practice that provides both general and periodontics dentistry. The procedure went smooth as well and the Dr. made it a point to explain to me what was going on and what he was doing. This was reassuring to me going through a difficult procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Katayev's dental office. Everyone there genuinely cares about their patients.

I have a very sordid story to tell for what has happened to me over the past year and a half at this place. So does my husband. It is just too long to type. I see some reviews of people that are very satisfied with their service here and that was me prior to this year and a half. I have been a patient here for 18 years. Today I was treated very poorly by Dr. Katayev and his staff and intentionally made to wait 30 minutes passed my appointment time with no one but me in the waiting room. It was done to make me feel humiliated and to waste my time. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this office and I will be reporting them to the New York State Education Department (NYSED) Office of Professional Discipline (OPD) and seeking legal action. Do not go here for your benefit. There are other dentists.

Horrible place ,I haven’t been to this dentist in over 24 months and received a claim for unreceived services in 2025 on a Sunday. The billing lady, who seems to be engaging in fraudulent activities by charging for services not rendered and intentionally using incorrect codes, attributed these claims to the dentist. She assured me that she would address the issue with him. Be aware that they charge for unreceived services.

Dr. Benjamin Ketayev and staff claim to take Medicaid patients, but after they take all of your information, including foto, front and back, of your medical insurance and picture ID, and your social security number, then they told me I have to pay for the x rays because I got one done last year and the insurance would not cover, which was not true. Any way, I called my last dentist and they sent them the x rays, but Dr. said he needed new ones. So I paid $125.00 with my credit card. After that he called his assistant to talk to me, and she told me they could not do anything because they don’t do, extractions, root canal or anything that I needed to be done. I felt like they kicked my behind out of the door, after they stoled my $125.00
