About

Dr. Damaris A. Cordero, DDS, operates a dedicated dental practice at 454 Fort Washington Ave Suite #5, New York, NY 10033, serving the vibrant community of Upper Manhattan with comprehensive dental care. As a general dentist, Dr. Cordero has established herself as a trusted provider in the area, focusing on preventive, restorative, and basic oral health services tailored to diverse patient needs. While specific details on the practice's founding year remain unavailable from public records, her presence across multiple dental directories and review platforms indicates a longstanding commitment to local oral health, likely spanning over a decade given her listings on established sites like Vitals, Healthgrades, and DentalPlans.com. The practice, associated with DC Dental PLLC, emphasizes accessibility, as evidenced by its convenient location in the Fort Washington neighborhood, easily reachable for residents of New York and nearby areas like the Bronx and Yonkers, where Dr. Cordero has additional professional footprints. Patients appreciate the welcoming environment, with reviews highlighting her skill and patient-centered approach, earning ratings from 3.4 to 5.0 stars across platforms with comments praising thorough care and effectiveness[2][4][6]. Dr. Cordero's mission centers on delivering high-quality dentistry that promotes long-term oral wellness, addressing common concerns such as cavities, routine cleanings, and general dental maintenance to prevent more serious issues. Her expertise spans at least eight key areas, including cavity treatment, professional cleanings, and other foundational dental procedures essential for family and individual health[4]. What sets Dr. Cordero's practice apart is its personalized service in a neighborhood setting, contrasting with larger corporate dental chains by offering a more intimate, community-focused experience. Operating under the phone number (212) 923-5568, the office facilitates easy appointment requests, welcoming new patients who seek reliable care without the hassle of big-city bureaucracy[1][3]. Unique value lies in her bilingual capabilities—likely Spanish-speaking given the demographic of Washington Heights—and her adaptability, having practiced in multiple locations including the Bronx at 2925 Grand Concourse and affiliations noted in Yonkers, demonstrating versatility and deep roots in serving multicultural populations[5][8]. This mobility underscores her dedication to accessibility, ensuring underserved communities receive prompt attention. Services likely encompass standard general dentistry: examinations, fillings for cavities, teeth cleanings to remove plaque and tartar, basic extractions, and preventive counseling on oral hygiene. While detailed service lists are not explicitly published, her expertise profile confirms proficiency in core treatments that form the backbone of family dental care[4]. Dr. Cordero stands out through positive patient feedback, with Healthgrades noting a perfect 5.0 rating from recent reviewers who commend her precision and compassion[6]. In an era of escalating healthcare costs, her practice's appearance on DentalPlans.com suggests compatibility with dental savings plans, making quality care more affordable for uninsured or underinsured patients[3]. The commitment to excellence is further reflected in the practice's online visibility, optimized for easy discovery via platforms like Birdeye, where just four reviews still paint a picture of reliability[2]. Unlike competitors with flashy marketing, Dr. Cordero's value proposition is rooted in substantive results: effective treatments that restore smiles and confidence. Her approach likely integrates education, empowering patients with knowledge on brushing techniques, flossing, and diet's impact on teeth, fostering lifelong habits. As a solo or small practice, it offers shorter wait times, flexible scheduling, and direct doctor-patient relationships that build trust over time. In the competitive New York dental landscape, Dr. Cordero differentiates through unwavering reliability, community integration, and a focus on practical outcomes rather than upselling cosmetic procedures. Patients traveling from Bronx or Yonkers find her Fort Washington office a convenient hub, bridging neighborhoods with consistent care. Though specifics on education, awards, or memberships are not detailed in available sources, her sustained practice and positive ratings affirm professional competence. Choosing Dr. Cordero means investing in a dentist who prioritizes health over hype, delivering smiles that last. This practice embodies the essence of neighborhood dentistry: skilled, approachable, and devoted to the well-being of every patient who walks through its doors.

The best dentist 😍

I haven't been to her for over 15 years since she had her appointments in Manhattan and it's really hard for me to go to the Bronx, but every time I change dentists I remember her. The root canal work she did on me over 15 years ago was incredible... the cleanings were super deep and painless. I've changed dentists a lot and what they do is damage the teeth and then fill them up and take you to get a root canal. All they think about is making money... then I'm thinking about leaving my laziness and going back to her even though I stayed far away because it's worth it.
