Customer Reviews
I would give 10 stars if I could! Dr. Dane is the most dedicated dental health professional I've had the pleasure of being treated by. I have a lot of anxiety getting any dental work done, so when I learned I needed a very complicated root canal, you can imagine my panic. Dr. Dane was not only thorough and did an amazing job, he was very caring and eased my anxiety throughout the process. He was also very fair with his prices. He really goes above and beyond for his patients. If you need a root canal done and done well, go to Dr. Dane!
Dr. Dane was the best dentist I have ever seen. I had a back molar which was starting to hurt and needed a root canal. During my first visit with Dr. Dane, he took a close look and told me I needed to go through several steps. First, I had to get a thorough cleaning of all the decay, then a root canal, followed by gum surgery and a crown with another dentist to completely repair the tooth. He also suggested the alternative of just removing the tooth, and was very clear and honest about the time and money both methods would require. It took about an hour, but at the end I felt far more knowledgeable about my tooth, and eventually went to go through several visits to complete my root canal with him.
The root canal procedures went pretty smoothly, even though I had a lot of bleeding during some of them, which Dr. Dane skillfully handled. He even suggested I should get tested for anemia, which was a very nice gesture, even though I ultimately tested negative. I also learned very clearly from him the importance of taking the right painkiller and anti-inflammatory prescriptions, which is a lesson I will never forget and owe a great debt to him for.
It took a long time for my dental procedures to be finished, but I was always in good hands with Dr. Dane, and if I ever needed any more dental care, would go through it again with him.
I would happily recommend Dr. Dane to anyone looking for an endo. I had a tooth causing intense pain and he saw me after hours on short notice for a reasonable upcharge. After getting me out of pain in the first visit, he finished the root canal during a couple follow up visits. He clearly communicated what he was doing and why which I greatly appreciated. When I got back to my normal dentist to fit the tooth for a crown, she complimented the work Dr. Dane did.
Be careful and pay attention to billing practices.
I went to Dr. Dane because my normal Dentist was unable to see me, so my normal dentist office referred me to him. I’m not sure if he needed to do a partial extraction of my tooth but I should have said no. He kept repeating the same thing over and over about this is an emergency and the piece had to go. I realize it was all to go forward and put him in the clear from any wrong doing. I got to his office during business hours and I was there so long with him removing part of my tooth which put me in worse pain than when I first got there. I ended up having to see Dr. Alex Greenberg, in the same office, had to extract the tooth. I was charged for after hours services. I had great insurance and they kept me there so long. Instead of repeating this is an emergency when the staff was all there, he should have repeated that my tooth extraction would be an after hour services that I would have to pay out of pocket. Be careful. Billing practices is just as important as patient care.
If I can leave this doctor zero reviews I would however, you have to select a star. I called to ask about my insurance and the doctor answered the phone very rude, unprofessional stating “I don’t have any openings call else where “ before I can even finish my sentence about my insurance. If he answers the phones like that, I wonder how he actually treats his patients.
