It’s uncommon to hear someone say, “I love my dentist.” But I love Dr. Shin! She is extremely competent, gentle, thorough, compassionate, and has a lovely bedside manner. She is also very patient in explaining your treatment. Some dental practices are run like a mill, eager to get patients in and out as fast as possible. But Dr. Shin patiently explains every procedure and invests time and care into her patients. The office staff is also caring, warm and responsive—when you call you get to talk to a human being without navigating an endless maze of menu options. A friend who moved far away flies back to NYC for a day, *just to see Dr. Shin*. In short, Dr. Shin is a rare gem.

I'm a happy patient of Dr. Shin for more than 10 years. She's definitely the best dentist I've ever seen. My teeth have always been quite problematic, and I'm very thankful that Dr. Shin has fixed all the complications over the years. The downside is that I only see her twice a year now for routine checkup. Dr. Shin is knowledgeable and always very patient to explain the treatments I needed or alternative options I had. Her office is sparkling clean. All staffs are super friendly, helpful, and efficient. Highly recommended.
Dr. Shin is one of my best dentists I've ever been to (and I've been to many - in Boston, NY and LA!) She and her team are warm, accommodating and wonderful. They do everything to make you as comfortable as possible at the dentist. Dr. Shin is so smart and knowledgeable and is so thorough. She takes the time to explain everything and you can tell she has a true passion for her work. I have recommended Dr. Shin to friends and coworkers and would recommend her team to anyone in need of dental care - simple or complicated. The best part of her office (in addition to the wonderful staff) is the stellar view of Empire State building from one of her chairs (my photo does not do it justice)!
I have been going to Dr. Shin for almost ten years and I highly recommend her. She cares about you as a patient and helps you bring your teeth to their best possible state. The office is impeccable and they use the most up to date technology. The front desk is super friendly and helpful. I just finished invisalign with Dr. Shin and the results are amazing! My teeth look the best they ever have. Although you need to be patient and wear the invisalign religiously for months, Dr. Shin and her team do their best to make the process seamless. I am very glad I stuck it out because the results are worth it!
