When I was looking for a new dentist I went to Dr Lieberman because his website looked mom and pop with great reviews. My previous dentist of 20 years had sold his business to a corporation that fired most of the staff and raised rates. It felt more like a factory and I missed having a doctor that remembered me. The best doctors are the ones with expert skills but also care about their patients. I am lucky to have found that at Dr Lieberman’s practice. Recently I had a bicycle accident that left me with trauma to my four front teeth. The front two were luxated, meaning they were broken above the gum line and pushed back so I could not bite down and the two on the sides were broken off completely, requiring root canals and crowns. I called Dr Lieberman’s office when I was in the hospital and he was the one who answered the phone. He calmed me down and then personally got in touch with an amazing endodontist making sure he could perform the root canal the next day. Then when I was dealing with insurance to get everything covered under medical he helped me by sending me all my previous xrays and walked me through everything. I was able to get it all covered because of Dr Lieberman. I cannot recommend Dr Lieberman enough. Before the accident he helped me with recurring pain from a molar and always made time for my questions. I am very grateful to have a dentist who is both accomplished and feels personally responsible for his patients.
We were passing through NY and needed to have a check-up and a cleanup. From the minute I contacted them via email, to the minute we finished our appointment, it was simply pure efficient awesome professional work. Via email we dealt with the admin that checked if our insurance was going to be accepted, and the online form submission process, all super fast, smooth, diligent. In person we dealt with the upbeat and positive receptionist, the XR tech, the dental hygienist Shira, and Dr. Lieberman himself. We got back to back appointments the week after we reached out, got there at 11:40 am on a Thursday and left at around 1 pm. We didn't have to wait much, everything was very well coordinated. The cleanup with Shira was great and onto the goal, she gave sound advice, and accommodated for some extra sensitivity I had. The doctor was thorough on his check-up and back himself up with plenty of XRs. The only thing I would think can make this practice even better is an update/upgrade of the XR equipment. As far as we have experienced with our all-time dentist office back at our hometown, there are far more modern equipment to for X-rays, less cumbersome for both the technician and the patient and get accurate results faster. The location is very convenient, as there is plenty of public transportation option that drop you off a block away. It was a great experience, everyone was professional, courteous, on time. Dr. Lieberman was my second opinion after receiving an extremely expensive quote from a new-age dental office in the city. Not only were he and his staff extremely welcoming and professional, but he was also far more honest, caring, and straightforward. I just had some work done today and left extremely happy! I would highly recommend him to anyone.
Dr Lieberman has been my dentist for 3 years. I'm very grateful for finding him after having experienced some subpar dental care because he really knows his profession and is more concerned with your well-being than anything else. Very pleasant and professional office staff. Dr Lieberman is compassionate and gives good details on the procedures before hand. Also he's pretty funny and has some great stories to tell while he's working away. 😀
I love that they tell it to you straight and don’t try to sell you on anything. Have had two m cleanings. They’ve gone great. I’m sure the day will come when they need to fill a cavity or fix something, but there’s been no unnecessary you should considers.
