His practice is rooted in a commitment to surgical excellence, patient comfort, and cutting-edge care, making him a trusted choice for complex dental and facial surgical needs.[1][2][3][5]

Dr. Quintana's journey in medicine began with his medical education at the prestigious Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, from which he graduated in 2011. Following this, he completed a rigorous six-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital / Columbia University Medical Center, where he distinguished himself by serving as chief resident in his final year. This comprehensive training equipped him with expertise across the spectrum of oral surgery, from routine extractions to advanced reconstructive procedures. After residency, Dr. Quintana brought his talents to New Heights Oral Surgery, a respected practice dedicated to providing top-tier oral surgical care in the Washington Heights neighborhood.[2][3][5]

Dr. Quintana offers a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery services, including tooth extractions, dental implants, bone grafting (both major and minor), and administration of general anesthesia. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of oral pathology, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders—treating these conditions more frequently than similar providers—and orthodontic jaw surgery, which is a particular passion. Additional services encompass wisdom tooth removal, facial trauma repair, jaw surgery in conjunction with orthodontics, and cosmetic facial procedures such as Botox and fillers. Patients commonly seek him for dental consultations, follow-ups, tooth extractions, wisdom tooth issues, and X-rays. He admits patients to New York-Presbyterian Hospital, ensuring seamless continuity of care for complex cases.[1][2][3]

What sets Dr. Quintana apart is his dual expertise as both a dentist (DDS) and physician (MD), allowing him to manage intricate cases that bridge dental and medical disciplines. His role as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dental Medicine in Oral Surgery at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine underscores his dedication to education and staying at the forefront of advancements in the field. Patient feedback reflects high satisfaction, with a likelihood to recommend rating of 4 out of 5 on Healthgrades, praising his skill in TMJ treatments and overall care. No appointments necessary- great. If you are in pain then another place tells you no appointments for 2 weeks that’s insane. That’s why I like this place and once you sit on the chair in less then 20 minutes you are out and smiling. Pain relief is invaluable- thanks to Dr. Q.
