Let me start by saying my insurance was out of network for the x-rays, so I did end up paying 20% more. HOWEVER, wow, it was worth it. Let me tell you...The morning of my appointment, it was absolute chaos with my kids at home and I barely made it out the door in time for my appointment. So I walk out of the elevator, super flustered, and I open the door to THE dental spa! The atmosphere is unrivaled. I instantly relaxed. I have never encountered a more peaceful experience outside of a 5 star suite abroad. This office is like Singapore Suite Class in dental world haha! Anyway, to the chair! The staff here was so sweet and gentle. I did not feel rushed at all. They offered me a spa-like menu with things like aromatherapy, an eye mask, and glasses, etc. Espresso/water. The doctor actually stayed and did the entire exam and cleaning. I've alway had a hygienist, right? But this time, the doctor *gasp* did the dirty work. She also talked to me in-depth about the overall health of my mouth and prepared me for what I would encounter when I "embrace" the process of double-jaw surgery in the future. Some of the information she presented was 100% helpful as I had not heard some of these American-factoids before in terms of coverage, recovery, etc. For the parts that aren't covered by insurance (any insurance, not just my awful plan), the prices here are on-parr with surrounding areas, ex: crowns, night guards. The extra 20% for the x-rays for me was absolutely okay in the end. I cut my own hair, so I'll just pretend the 40% for the year (20% every 6 months) is like equivalent to getting a professional haircut...I'm just spending my hair money at the dentist instead :) Highly recommend!!
