About

Kids Dental, located at 260 Audubon Avenue in New York, NY 10033, stands as a premier pediatric dentistry practice dedicated to providing exceptional oral healthcare for children in the Washington Heights area and throughout New York City. Specializing in comprehensive dental services tailored exclusively for young patients, Kids Dental operates as an affiliated pediatric specialist group under the renowned 866 Fix Teeth network, which has been serving the NYC community for over 18 years. This longstanding commitment to quality care underscores the practice's deep roots in the local community, where it has earned a stellar reputation for compassionate, child-friendly dentistry that prioritizes comfort, education, and long-term oral health[1][2][6].

From its inception as part of a multi-specialty dental group spanning the five boroughs—including Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, Staten Island, and Manhattan—Kids Dental has focused on addressing the unique needs of pediatric patients. The practice's history is intertwined with 866 Fix Teeth's evolution, marked by a dedication to staying ahead of dental innovations while maintaining a warm, welcoming environment that alleviates the common fears associated with dental visits for children. With three dedicated locations across NYC, Kids Dental ensures accessibility for families, making high-quality pediatric care convenient and reliable[6]. The mission of Kids Dental is clear: to deliver the best possible dental service in NYC by integrating cutting-edge techniques with a patient-centered approach. Every visit is designed to make children feel comfortable and confident, fostering positive attitudes toward oral hygiene that last a lifetime. The team's goal extends beyond treatment to empower parents and kids alike with knowledge about preventive care, early intervention, and the importance of regular check-ups[2][3][6].

At the heart of Kids Dental's services is a full spectrum of pediatric dental offerings, including routine cleanings, exams, fluoride treatments, sealants, and cavity fillings, all adapted to the developmental stages of children from infancy through adolescence. The practice excels in managing common pediatric issues such as teething discomfort, thumb-sucking habits, and orthodontic evaluations, while also providing specialized interventions for dental anxiety, emergencies, and restorative procedures. What truly sets Kids Dental apart is its unique value proposition: a seamless blend of multi-specialty expertise from the 866 Fix Teeth network with specialized pediatric focus. Unlike general dental offices, Kids Dental employs techniques proven to engage young patients—such as playful atmospheres, gentle handling, and educational tools that turn visits into fun learning experiences. This is complemented by the network's broad capabilities, allowing for referrals within the group for advanced needs like orthodontics (including Invisalign and Orthosnap), endodontics, gingivitis treatments, and sleep apnea devices when required[4][6].

The expertise at Kids Dental is evident in its perfect 5/5 patient ratings and glowing testimonials, where families rave about the 'friendly dentists,' 'professional staff,' and efficient service that gets patients 'in and out in no time.' Parents appreciate the old-fashioned feel of genuine care combined with modern innovations, creating an environment where children leave smiling and motivated to maintain healthy smiles[1][6]. What distinguishes Kids Dental from competitors is its affiliation model, which provides small-practice intimacy with big-group resources. While many pediatric dentists operate independently, Kids Dental benefits from shared knowledge, continuous training, and a discounted membership plan for uninsured patients—offering over 50% off regular fees—making premium care affordable and inclusive[6]. Located in the vibrant Washington Heights neighborhood, the practice serves a diverse community, emphasizing cultural sensitivity and multilingual support to build trust with every family.

In an era where dental health profoundly impacts overall child development, Kids Dental positions itself as the go-to destination for proactive, preventive, and personalized pediatric dentistry. By focusing on early education about brushing, flossing, and nutrition, the practice not only treats but prevents issues, reducing the need for complex interventions later. This forward-thinking approach, paired with a track record of excellence over nearly two decades, cements Kids Dental's role as a community cornerstone. Families choose Kids Dental not just for its services, but for the peace of mind that comes from knowing their child's smile is in expert, caring hands. Whether it's a first tooth check-up or adolescent orthodontic guidance, Kids Dental delivers results that shine, setting a gold standard in NYC pediatric dentistry[1][2][3][4][6]. (Word count: 728)

Never an issue here and the Doctor my son had today was beautiful (even with her mask on) polite, informative, gentle and just amazing with him! I think she said her name was Sunny. Well she definitely brightened up my day!☀️

In my experience, the waiting time in this place is horrible. My son’s appointment was for 12:30pm, he got seen at 2pm. The service they provide is great, the doctors are great. If they could only work on the waiting time to be less than an hour that would make a big difference.

In my experience, service providers have been nice and helpful, the wait is not bad, doctors are excellent with the kids and everything. BUT there is a big problem and it’s hygiene issues, the restroom looks dirty, the walls are disgustingly, the toilet moves when you seat and smell bad. When you go inside you can see that they don’t clean the place the right way.

Yal been having bad reviews for a long time. Owner responds but none is being fixed all ya did was add “excuse for the wait signs” I don’t think you’re taking these reviews serious enough … your loosing clients clearly & would loose more. it seems nobody wants to really do their job im VERY observant and I watched workers walk around doing NOTHING while theirs people outside waiting and while I was also waiting. I believe since they noticed I was asking questions they were prob nervous to attend to me due to not wanting or having the answer or wanting to do the work. ?? Seems nobody likes to do the cleanings so they’ll make you wait until someone finally decides to do it. Most workers seems lazy . You should hire new people ! Even though I seen yal did but guess’s what monkey see monkey do. they gotten too comfortable and think it’s okay. I seen a girl get excited that she’s about to leave and it was only 2pm .. when they close at 4. Starting to think they purposely don’t book people after a certain time so they can go home. I also see they don’t follow the first come first serve basics. They’re not organized or just don’t care. Makes me wonder if they don’t care about the little things how can I trust their judgement on anything else. Or maybe yal get paid more for certain things it’s making me questions the malpractices. I wish I got a second opinion on my son before crowning 8 of his teeth’s . Which I didn’t find out till the day off ? I hope that’s not for a payday . I seen a paper that said he had a due date follow up and nobody ever called for it. And his crowns are apparently all loose. I’m hoping that’s really for the reason they stated and his not left without any teeth. If yal don’t like ya job get a new one !!

Very disappointed with the wait times. I had an appointment scheduled, but still ended up waiting over [insert time, e.g., 45 minutes] before even being called back. This isn't the first time it's happened either. It's frustrating to plan your day around an appointment only to sit and wait with no explanation. The staff is polite, but the scheduling clearly needs improvement. If you're looking for a place that respects your time, I wouldn’t recommend this office.
