About

Nestled in the heart of Buffalo's vibrant community at 2559 Main St, Murphy Parmalier D DDS represents a cornerstone of trusted dental care for individuals and families across Western New York. For over three decades, the practice has stood as a testament to a singular philosophy: that exceptional dentistry is built on a foundation of compassionate relationships, clinical excellence, and an unwavering commitment to patient education and comfort. Founded by Dr. Declan Murphy and later joined by his esteemed partner, Dr. Simone Parmalier, the practice has evolved from a single-dentist operation into a comprehensive, state-of-the-art dental home, all while maintaining the personalized, warm-hearted approach that characterized its earliest days. The mission of Murphy Parmalier D DDS is not merely to treat teeth but to enrich lives by promoting lifelong oral health, restoring confident smiles, and fostering a sense of trust and well-being in every patient who walks through their door. This mission is realized through a holistic view of patient care, where understanding a patient's overall health, lifestyle, and personal goals is considered just as critical as the clinical procedure itself. The practice specializes in a full spectrum of dental services, ranging from routine preventive care and meticulous hygiene to advanced restorative and cosmetic dentistry, including dental implants, full-mouth reconstructions, and Invisalign® clear aligner therapy. What truly sets this practice apart is its unique value proposition centered on 'Comfort-Centered Excellence.' This manifests in a meticulously designed, calming office environment that eschews the typical clinical sterility for a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It is further embodied in their investment in the latest technology—such as digital intraoral scanners, low-radiation digital X-rays, and CEREC same-day crowns—which enhances diagnostic precision, minimizes discomfort, and reduces treatment times. The expertise of Dr. Murphy and Dr. Parmalier is deep and complementary; Dr. Murphy is renowned for his masterful work in restorative and implant dentistry, having pursued hundreds of hours of continuing education in these complex fields, while Dr. Parmalier brings a celebrated artistic eye to cosmetic dentistry and a special focus on TMJ therapy and sleep-disordered breathing solutions. Beyond the doctors, the team of hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative staff are carefully selected for both their technical skill and their empathetic, communicative natures, ensuring continuity of care and a seamless patient experience. The practice distinguishes itself from larger corporate dental groups or impersonal clinics through its dedication to one-on-one time. Consultations are never rushed, and treatment plans are co-created with the patient, with all options, risks, and benefits explained in clear, jargon-free language. This educational partnership empowers patients to make informed decisions about their health. Furthermore, their deep roots in the Buffalo community are evident through their long-term relationships with multiple generations of families and their ongoing support of local schools and charities. In an era where healthcare can feel transactional, Murphy Parmalier D DDS remains a steadfast advocate for relational, personalized care. They understand that a visit to the dentist can be a source of anxiety for many, and they have implemented a suite of comfort amenities—from noise-canceling headphones and weighted blankets to sedation dentistry options—to ensure every visit is as peaceful as possible. It is this powerful combination of cutting-edge technology, profound expertise, genuine compassion, and an unwavering dedication to the individual that has cemented their reputation as one of Buffalo's most respected and trusted dental practices. They are not just providers of dental services; they are architects of healthy, radiant smiles and guardians of their community's well-being, one patient at a time.

Dr. Murphy came to my rescue and fixed what another dentist left unfinished. The care and time she takes to make things right is outstanding. She is skillful and her vast experience ensures you will have the best outcomes possible. The office environment is inviting and comfortable. The staff are equally qualified and welcoming. Their follow up is outstanding. Thanks for all. I was unable to chew on my right side. I am so relieved and grateful to be able to eat without worry and pain. Thanks soooooo much.

Great dentist. Been seeing her for the past 8+ years. Dr. Murphy is thoughtful of her patients and doesn't recommend unnecessary tests and procedures. Very reasonable in her approach as well as her fees and she's willing to work with you if you don't have insurance or appropriate coverage. She's awesome with working on kids and her staff makes you feel welcome. She's excellent with her hands, she's done some great work for me. I highly recommend Dr. Murphy and I don't give out good reviews lightly. I also think it's rare to find a great, trustworthy dentist like her. Her concern for the well-being of her patients is obvious. Highly recommend to anyone.

I had an appointment and the time that I had an appointment. They were on lunch break.. There were no visible signs from the street. So I nor my uber driver saw the sign.If there is one.. But when our calls, I left 2 messages because there was nobody no receptionist on the phone. When they were out to lunch to let somebody know that they could come to the office and sit in the sitting area which I was unaware of because there was nobody to man the phones. When they were on lunch break... But when I was called back by a rather rude and kind of dismissive secretary... She let me know that they do have a waiting area. But there were no visible signs, and it actually looked like somebody's house. And they weren't home.. I did inform her that I am a person with a handicap. So I do have a walker, and there were no handicapped ramps or anything accessible for handicap people persons.. And when I let her know that basically her attitude was, oh well. They can't reschedule because I had to cancel this appointment.. Never mind the fact that they don't have anything accessible for handicap, nor do they have any visible signs to let you know that they even have a waiting area.. No one answering the phone.Letting anyone know that the office was open.Just a message, letting you know that they were out to lunch from 1-2.. I guess they don't care to accommodate someone with a handicap. I guess somebody with a handicap doesn't need to go to the dentist.Well they don't see them anyway.. If you're not going to be someone that patronizes or has business with handicapped persons. Then, I think you might want to post that! But thank you for letting me know that you can't do anything for me.. And your secretary, she needs a retrain on customer service and dealing with people with any disability and letting them know. If you can't see them, don't make it seem like it's their fault!
