I have been a patient at 42nd St Dental for several years. They have always been good, kind, efficient, pleasant and professional. I always recommend them to anyone who asks when they are looking for a dentist. I always book with Dr. Curtin and her assistant hygenist, Luz. They are the best!
I saw an advertisement about this office doing Invisalign, saying it's only 50 dollars for consultation. At the time my insurance wasn't active, I got the imaging done, was told it's free when they called me to come back for a follow up to see the imaging. I gave them my insurance to see if they would cover the Invisalign, they billed my insurance $300 for the consultation. Prior to this experience I was eager to get the service done, but this experience deters me. The Invisalign they told me I need cost 5,500 for the course of 8 months. I'll shop around somewhere else. Whoever runs the financial department was nasty when I called to inquire why am I being charged that amount. Saying they never charged anything, lol so why am I receiving a claim that shows me being charged, saying I owe 177.50 after my insurance covered the remaining. I like full transparency and this was misleading, doesn't build a repertoire of trust between the patient and the establishment.
