Wonderful dentist and staff! I had a cleaning and four crowns with Dr. Modlin. It was pain free. I don’t have before and after photos, but my teeth are a night and day difference. I love my new teeth!!!! Highly recommend - everyone is so nice!

Office, conveniently located in the heart of New York (whatever transportation you use to commute will undoubtedly stop a few minutes walk away), is clean, hi-tech and uses the most innovative approach to dentistry. Receptionists are always welcoming and stay on top of your appointments- from collecting any missing information to save check-in time to reminding you about upcoming appointment in a friendly and caring manner. Office is well staffed and there is always someone to address any inquiries or questions you might have prior or post an appointment. Make sure to be on time as New Broadway Dental takes their scheduling highly serious and office runs smoothly with minimized waiting time. Highly recommend!

I definitely do NOT recommend this dental service. The 3.5/5 Google Maps rating exists for a reason. I chose it only because it was close to my location, and I regret that decision. Pros: The front desk staff have a good attitude and are responsive. Cons: (1) NOT ON TIME. I arrived on time for my appointment, but they were still dealing with a previous patient. I ended up waiting about 20 minutes, so my appointment started much later than scheduled. (2) EXTREMELY PAINFUL CLEANING. This is the first time I’ve ever experienced a dental cleaning that was this painful. I had multiple bleeding spots, which has never happened to me before. They did not ask whether I was uncomfortable and just continued despite the pain. (3) AGGRESSIVE AND EXPENSIVE UPSELLING. My appointment was only for a routine cleaning, which should have been fully covered by my insurance. However, they tried to sell me orthodontic treatment that was extremely expensive. Even after I canceled, I could still see a pending $8,000 charge in my insurance portal, which is ridiculous. They also performed intraoral scans and X-rays without asking for my consent. These scans were unnecessary, time-consuming, and not something I requested. I had already taken time off work for a simple cleaning that usually takes no more than one hour, but between the late start and the sales pitch, my time was completely wasted. To make things worse, I later received a bill for services that I never asked for. Please STAY AWAY from this place if you don’t want to waste your time, deal with unnecessary pain, or risk unexpected charges.

I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience. Unfortunately, my visit to this dental office was disappointing from start to finish. The front desk staff was disorganized and unprofessional — my appointment started almost 30 minutes late without any explanation or apology. The dentist barely took the time to explain what was going on, and I felt rushed the entire time. I also had questions about my treatment plan, but they were brushed off with vague or dismissive answers. To make matters worse, I was quoted one price before treatment, only to receive a much higher bill afterward. When I asked for clarification, no one could give me a straight answer. Dental care is stressful enough without this kind of experience. I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this office to others.

Sent dental plan ID Twice. They are incompetent up front. Verification of app't by them, then another call to send the ID. Rude and no phone etiquette. I had to cancel with their bad attitude.
