I’m very satisfied with my visit to New Heights Oral Surgery. I arrived at 7am and was literally out before 8am. I came in planning to get just one wisdom tooth removed, but after Dr. Quintana explained why it was best to take out two, I felt confident moving forward—and I’m glad I did. I chose local anesthesia and stayed awake during the procedure. The only part that stung a bit was the injections, but I felt no pain at all during the extraction, just some pressure. Dr. Quintana was very kind and truly has his patients’ best interest at heart. He even let me put on my headphones, which was a huge help. having some music or noise cancellation makes a big difference for anxious patients. The female dental assistant was also incredibly kind (I wish I had gotten her name). I was shaking with anxiety, and she comforted me by rubbing my head, it really made a difference. Overall, 10/10 experience. Just make sure you’re there when they open if wanting to be seen quick is your priority!
This is a great clinic with polite and caring staff. Dr Quintana performed the extraction very easily and swiftly. Price is very reasonable, in another clinic in the midtown they wantef me to pay x10 more for unnecessary staff. This clinic doesn’t chase things like that. Thank you!
First of all thank you for your help. I was able to get put to sleep to get my two wisdom tooth pulled out. Dental oral surgery in the Bronx did not want to go with that option. I arrived at 7:16am and was done by 8:20am. BEST EXPERIENCE. Fyi the dentist is a gentleman very knowledgeable of what he’s doing
I like to read the reviews before go to visit and have a service in a place. I am reading good and negative experiences with the patients which is normal and understandable. Although I never been in this office, I hope to have a good experience and treat with professionalism and descence because many oral surgery place have very negative comments from their patients. I need to extract a mole and I am a person that suffer from anxiety.. I have been in another oral surgery place before to do procedure twice with sedation with a referral but I would like to try this office for the first time and depending I will continue to do other work which I need in my mouth...I am a strict person to decide and choose who works with my dental services with courtesy and care..Thank you so much hoping to have a good experience from this office and refer more people to you..👍😊
Zero stars. Poor time management and predatory practices. My first appointment was a consultation that I was told is mandatory and a $150 co-pay. I come in for my appointment and I was waiting for about an hour, just to be consulted for 10 minutes. Initially, they were trying to pull the tooth the same day, but I didn't know that was possible (because I was told otherwise), so I didn't plan accordingly and had to leave because I only took an hour off from work. I come back to get ONE wisdom tooth removed at 9 am and I wasn't seated until 12p.m. Once, I was seated, then I was told I had to pay $225 as a copay. The money isn't the issue--at any point during the 3 hours I was waiting, the administrative staff could've informed me of the bill and I would've gladly paid. But instead, when I'm clearly already agitated after waiting for 3 hours, I'm berated about a bill. I ended up walking out. They overbook and jam as many people in one day as possible in order to get the maximum amount of insurance claims. The majority of their patients are low-income and the practice is aware that this demographic is the least likely to complain because of the inexpensive services. Taking advantage of these circumstances is very predatory and they should be ashamed. New Heights Oral Surgery, you aren't getting a cent out of me.
