About

Next Generation Dental, located at 5 W 71st Street on the corner of Central Park West in New York, NY 10023, stands as a premier dental practice in Manhattan dedicated to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care. Nestled in the heart of the Upper West Side, this state-of-the-art facility has established itself as a trusted destination for individuals and families seeking comprehensive dental solutions. With a focus on both emergency services and advanced cosmetic enhancements, Next Generation Dental combines cutting-edge technology with a compassionate approach to ensure every patient leaves with a healthy, radiant smile. The practice's commitment to excellence is evident in its 4.8-star rating from over 200 satisfied patients, reflecting a legacy of reliability and superior outcomes.[3][5]

While specific founding dates remain undisclosed in available records, Next Generation Dental has built a robust reputation over years of service in one of the world's most demanding urban environments. Led by the skilled father-son duo of Dr. Paul Ganjian, D.D.S., specializing in cosmetic dentistry and dental implants, and Dr. Benjamin Ganjian, D.D.S., an expert in cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics, the practice embodies a multi-generational dedication to oral health innovation.[5] Their expertise draws from extensive training and hands-on experience, positioning the clinic as a leader in restorative and aesthetic dentistry. The mission of Next Generation Dental is clear: to prioritize patient comfort, providing effective, gentle, and customized treatments in a friendly, caring environment. Every personalized treatment plan is crafted to address unique dental needs, fostering not just clinical success but also long-term oral wellness through education on home hygiene practices.[3]

The services at Next Generation Dental are impressively diverse, catering to all ages and dental concerns. As a full-service dental office, it houses specialists including general dentists, restorative dentists, cosmetic dentists, pediatric dentists, orthodontists, periodontists, and emergency dentists. Core offerings encompass routine dental exams and cleanings, digital X-rays for precise diagnostics, porcelain veneers for aesthetic perfection, crowns and fillings for durability, professional teeth whitening for brightness, gum treatments for periodontal health, and advanced solutions like failed and infected root canal therapies.[1][3] Orthodontic services feature traditional braces and clear aligners to straighten teeth and improve bites, while restorative options include bridges, dentures, and high-quality implants that restore function and appearance seamlessly.[3] Emergency dental services ensure prompt care for urgent needs, making it a go-to for Manhattan residents facing sudden pain or trauma.[2][3]

What truly sets Next Generation Dental apart is its unwavering emphasis on patient experience and technological integration. From the moment patients step into the modern lobby and waiting room, they are greeted by a welcoming atmosphere that alleviates common dental anxieties.[4] The practice employs state-of-the-art equipment to deliver precise, minimally invasive procedures, reducing discomfort and accelerating recovery times. Unlike many competitors that specialize narrowly, Next Generation Dental offers a one-stop solution under one roof, eliminating the need for multiple referrals. Its bilingual capabilities—Se Habla Español—enhance accessibility for diverse communities.[1] The doctors' approachable demeanor encourages open discussions about treatment plans, empowering patients with knowledge and confidence.[3]

The unique value proposition lies in this holistic approach: combining expert specialization with genuine empathy. Dr. Paul Ganjian's proficiency in dental implants provides life-changing reconstructions, while Dr. Benjamin Ganjian's orthodontic innovations yield confident, aligned smiles without compromise. The practice's convenient location near the B or C train at 72nd Street and Central Park West, coupled with extended hours—including Sundays—accommodates busy New York lifestyles.[2][4] Whether preventing issues through preventative care or transforming smiles via cosmetic artistry, Next Generation Dental delivers results that endure. Patients rave about the gentle techniques, personalized attention, and transformative outcomes, solidifying its status as a beacon of next-level dental care. Dr. Emma Kirshenbaum is an absolutely wonderful and highly competent dentist. She’s attentive, patient, and truly takes the time to make sure you’re comfortable and informed every step of the way. The entire experience at her office is seamless — the front desk team is incredibly responsive and knowledgeable, answering all of my questions quickly and clearly. I always feel well taken care of here. Special thanks to Christina - she is remarkable. Highly recommend!

Next Generation Dental Dr. Emma Kirshenbaum, Christina, and their staff are really an awesome team. Their team were able to get me gold 👑 crowns for my bite. Not many Dentists know or experience in this method of gold crowning. I have been to California and Texas and it is truly hard to find this quality. The Doctor and her team were able to satisfy with no problem - quickly. Truly, never felt excited to go to the Dentist. Who wouldn't want to get back teeth gold, giving me a more supportive strong bite and pain free. Highly recommend and highly satisfying results. David Woloski

In the often-frustrating search for a great dentist in this city, Dr. Emma Kirshenbaum and her team are truly a beacon of light. From the warm receptionists to the light banter of the x-rays technician, from the fluoride treatment to the cozy dentist chair, I felt completely cared for at Next Generation Dentist. I honestly can’t wait to come back in six months!!

Dr. Kirshenbaum treated me for a cracked tooth. She was both kind and attentive, which I appreciated as the dentist office often makes me nervous.

THIS PLACE SCAMMED ME AND NO ONE SHOULD COME HERE. I had a horrible experience at this dentistry. One innocent cleaning with Dr Kristenbaum turned into 3 UNNECESSARY poorly done fillings, a root canal, and thousands of dollars down the drain (and that’s after insurance), all of which caused me immeasurable pain. Filling 1/Root canal 1: I was in pain for TWO AND A HALF WEEKS and they kept telling me it was normal??? Finally I was so done that I asked for a root canal, and they assured me that it was fine and proceeded with it!!!! I now realize there were probably other options! Even after the root canal, the bite wasn’t properly fixed, the temp crown scratched up my tooth to the point of bleeding, and I am still sore (a month later). That is NOT normal. Fillings 2-3: They assured me this time that the fillings would be painless. However, once the numbing wore off, I was in pain AGAIN. At this point, I realized it’s not me - it’s the dentist. Another dentist looked at my teeth and told me that based on the x-rays, I shouldn’t have needed fillings in any of those teeth, much less a root canal. Are you JOKING??? I’ve spent the past month crying from pain and desperation because I’ve spent so much unneeded money and I’ve been left with a DEAD tooth and 2 in pain ones, and I am genuinely so traumatized. I have spent the past month unable to eat, drink, or sleep normally. These people abused my trust and my money, and anyone with a right mind would do best to stay away.
