About

Nestled on the fourth floor of a historic building at 155 Spring Street in the heart of SoHo, NYC Dental Associates stands as a beacon of modern, comprehensive oral healthcare. This premier practice has built its reputation not merely on treating dental issues but on cultivating lifelong relationships with patients, founded on trust, exceptional care, and a deep understanding of the unique pace and standards of New York City life. For over a decade, the practice has served the diverse communities of Manhattan, evolving from a local dental office into a respected multi-specialty group known for its clinical excellence and patient-centric philosophy. The mission of NYC Dental Associates is unequivocal: to provide personalized, evidence-based dental care in a serene, state-of-the-art environment that alleviates anxiety and promotes optimal oral and overall health. They operate on the core belief that a healthy, confident smile is integral to personal and professional success, and they are dedicated to helping every patient achieve it. The practice distinguishes itself through a powerful synergy of advanced technology, continuous education, and a genuinely warm, concierge-level approach. Upon entering the clinic, patients are immediately transported from the bustling SoHo streets into a calming, thoughtfully designed space featuring modern aesthetics, natural light, and amenities that prioritize comfort. The clinical team, led by highly skilled dentists and specialists, leverages cutting-edge tools such as digital intraoral scanners, cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) for precise 3D imaging, laser dentistry for minimally invasive procedures, and CAD/CAM technology for same-day crowns and restorations. This technological integration allows for unparalleled diagnostic accuracy, efficient treatment planning, and outcomes that blend seamlessly with natural aesthetics. What truly sets NYC Dental Associates apart, however, is its holistic and collaborative care model. The practice houses a team of general dentists, periodontists, endodontists, and orthodontists who work in concert under one roof. This interdisciplinary approach ensures that complex cases are managed with cohesive, multi-faceted treatment plans without the need for patients to navigate referrals across the city. Expertise spans the full spectrum of dentistry, from preventive care and sophisticated cosmetic makeovers to full-mouth rehabilitation and dental implant surgery. The team’s commitment to continuing education is relentless, with practitioners regularly attending leading institutes and conferences to stay at the forefront of techniques in sedation dentistry, biomimetic restorations, and implantology. The unique value proposition of NYC Dental Associates lies in its ability to marry the highest caliber of clinical dentistry with an exceptional patient experience. They understand the time constraints and high expectations of their clientele, which is why they emphasize meticulous scheduling, transparent communication, and financial clarity. The practice caters to professionals, families, artists, and long-time residents of downtown Manhattan, treating each individual with tailored attention. Their dedication to excellence has fostered a loyal patient base that values the practice’s integrity, consistency, and ability to deliver beautiful, functional, and long-lasting results. In a city with no shortage of dental options, NYC Dental Associates has carved out a distinctive niche by being a practice where advanced science meets genuine compassion, where every detail is considered, and where every smile is treated as a unique work of art.

The whole team at NYC Dental Associates in SOHO was great! A shout out to the dental hygienist Marciana who took the time to show me where I was missing brushing my teeth. Really lovely experience. Couldn’t be happier!

Took down my original review where I expressed some concerns but since then the doctor that did my cleaning reached out, which I appreciated because not often do doctors reach out to communicate misunderstanding and offer a solution. I still feel compelled to write an honest, high level review in case it helps any new patient. My first visit for an annual cleaning was just okay. The cleaning was pretty fast and wasn’t super thorough as other practices I’ve been to. I only came here because my insurance changed. My overall appointment felt rushed a bit. I couldn’t ask a lot of questions, in my case specifically about my mouth guard and grinding my teeth which the doctor noticed while examining my teeth. Overall, I didn’t feel confident at the end of my visit that I will be returning. I usually never feel that way in any of practices that I go to for care within and outside of dental. So it was strange feeling that made me want to write a review in first place. I am also someone that cares about the patient + HCP relationship, and want to stay at a practice that I feel comfortable in. If you value similar things in what you want in your care, just make sure to ask questions and voice concerns with your doctor. Pro, the office was clean and the front desk staff was very nice. I was able to get an appointment pretty quickly.

I can’t speak to the specific care of the dentists but their communication has serious issues. After missing one confirmation phone call at 3:30 on the day of my appointment at 5pm (a work day), they cancelled my appointment with no notice and no prior explanation that their texts must be responded to. When I called back one hour later, I was told the doctor was busy for the next two hours, even though my appointment had only just been cancelled. I’ve never dealt with a practice with these rules and will be looking for care elsewhere. They seem to have issues with their patient onboarding experience, as evidenced by other reviews.
