I’ve been going to Onsite Dental since 2023 and I generally have a good experience. However I really enjoyed my visit yesterday. Whitney at the front desk was so lovely and knowledgeable as she went over my plan’s coverage, my hygienist Erika was exceptional with how she cleaned my teeth, explained my x-rays, and answered my questions, and Dr. Phillips did a great job relaying the plan moving forward. Great job ladies!

This was the best dental visit I have ever had at any practice. The team was very knowledgeable and professional, explaining everything as they went through my appointment and making me feel comfortable the entire time. I will be using this practice moving forward. I highly recommend Onsite Dental.

I'd like to split this review into two parts - the dental and admin part of this business. I. First, Dr. Hussein was my dentist, and I can attest that she probably has the best bedside manners of any dentist I've ever met. She was very patient with me for both my visits (initial cleaning and followup fillings visit). She over-explained everything (which I appreciated), and laid out her thought process clearly for why she thought we should do X instead of Y. I was very very pleased with this and thought I had found a dentist in NY finally. II. Unfortunately, a business is not simply the service they provide. This business's admin portion is unacceptable. After my fillings visit, I paid out of pocket cost via CC $250. I thought this was high for the work done since that was "post insurance", but I paid it anyways on the spot. My insurance eventually sent me the detailed invoice for what they reimbursed Onsite Dental for. Apparently, they reimbursed Onsite Dental for everything except $80. This means that Onsite Dental essentially overcharged me $170. I emailed them asking for a detailed breakdown of the bill to figure out why I was charged so much more. They responded with the bill. When I emailed them back to ask for clarification on the discrepancy between my insurance and their bill, they ghosted me! I called them twice and emailed them three times as a followup, but completely ghosted! Please do yourself a favor and DON'T get scammed by this practice. I was actually recommended this practice from our internal work group and will now be making an internal suggestion that coworkers steer clear of here.

My son really enjoyed going to this dentist. My cleaning was fine, but the dentist told me I needed to replace all my fillings, which would’ve cost me around $2000! Turns out DMO places try to push unnecessary procedures bc they don’t make any real money off regular preventative care with dmo plans. Switched to PPO, got a 5 star dentist, who literally called these folks dirtbags for suggesting I needed any filling replacement work. He said everything looked fine. So while our cleanings were fine, we had to give a lower rating for the scamming.

I naively scheduled *teeth cleaning* with Onsite. Upon arrival the decided to perform an entire oral exam including x-rays even though I had it done 2-3 months earlier with another dentist in MA. Then they determined I needed to replace two fillings, undergo a Scaling Root (ideally right away), and must re-align my teeth -- only the latter I've been weakly encouraged to consider before. When I asked about the *cleaning that I came for*, they determined that's unnecessary and wouldn't better the health of my gums -- sending me home without it. I sourced a second opinion at another dentist -- no replacing of fillings nor scaling root needed -- same as I was told also at my previous dentist before going to Onsite. That's just so outrageous.
